"Deciding to purchase the right computer to meet my current and future photographic needs led me to Jeff Stubbers of Puget Systems.

My search for a solution across popular manufacturers was unsuccessful. They could not meet my requirements. I turned to photography forums where I have confidence in the members and the moderators. Puget System consistently received solid user reviews.

I looked at their website and the offerings geared for photographers and new Puget Systems would have the components to meet my needs. I worked with Jeff Stubbers. Working with Jeff was like dealing with a top customer focused organization. His service and attention to detail reminded me of two of the top ranked global customer service companies - LL Bean and Amazon.

My experience with Jeff was just terrific. He asked lots of questions about how I use the PC, made recommendations, explained every component in the PC, and thoroughly answered each and every question I had. In fact Jeff even provided solid perspective on a new monitor. Jeff never pressured me. Over several contacts, Jeff made me feel comfortable and confident with purchasing from Puget Systems.

On January 31, I purchased the computer and it arrived on Friday, February 7. On Saturday, I set the computer and monitor up and ran into an issue. My wifi card was not working correctly with my router. I thought this is where the rubber meets the road. How will Puget address the issue.

I sent Jeff an email detailing the issue and spoke to him first thing Monday morning. In under a minute Jeff advised that in the box with the extra “stuff” the company sends (extra parts, etc) was a stealth antenna which attached to the back of the computer and insured my wifi card and router worked seamlessly. And they did work seamlessly. My PC and monitor were working really well.

Importantly, Jeff’s calm and confident action left me feeling good about my investment with Puget. I’ve already recommended Puget Systems to two associates and friends. I’m looking forward to a long and solid relationship with the company and feel confident they will help me over the life of the computer.

"I have built many of my own computers so I am not used to paying someone else to build one for me.

I bought a server through Puget and it is awesome. It really is an excellent deal when you think about the whole process they go through building it and shipping the thing.

They shipped it in a gigantic box full of customized padding. I bet I could push the box down a flight of stairs and the computer would still be fine. They include a specialized booklet of all your license keys, a list of all the parts included, phone numbers for each part, all the performance info etc..

It takes time and money to do that much for each computer. So I am thoroughly impressed! I got a beast of a server and the thing is beautiful. Oscar did an awesome job hiding the cables.

Out of all the websites that custom build computers, this is the only one I would buy from. The reason I chose Puget was 100% based on what I saw on their webpage. It is very cleanly laid out, easy to navigate and well designed.

Also I asked for a free t-shirt to be included and they did it! Not sure that will work for everyone but I thought I might ask.

"I have had my Serenity Pro for about 2 weeks now and I am very satisfied, both with the computer and the ordering process. Before I was actually ready to buy, I used Puget's website to configure my ideal system and saved the configuration. Jeff from Puget reached out to see if I needed assistance and made some suggestions to my system that actually reduced its cost. My system uses a Haswell CPU and I wanted to make sure my mobo had the C2 stepping. Jeff informed me that Puget had not yet received any C2 versions of my mobo but they would keep their eyes out for one. I was able to order my system on December 1 to take advantage of Puget's Christmas sale and Puget held my order for about a month until the C2 stepping mobo arrived. They posted updates to the website about every other day and stayed in touch with me throughout the process. Once the mobo came in, Puget build my system in about 2 days and I was able to follow the build process on their website, which was a lot of fun. The system was shipped across the country and arrived in pristine condition, the special packaging used by Puget was extremely effective. My Serenity Pro is everything they said it would be -- whisper quiet, fast and powerful. The only way I know the computer is on is by the led on the front. I would certainly purchase another computer from Puget."

"After placing the order, retailer tried to upsell me on parts via email. Cancelled order, but continue to receive emails and surveys as if I had gone through with it.

If a system isn't suitable as a "budget gaming" rig, then don't offer that configuration as a "gaming" rig. *Especially* don't offer *even worse* video cards as "budget gaming" rigs, then claim you're not trying to upsell customers. Your website (and your employee's emails - which try to upsell me to a completely different system, *not* a "more expensive" video card) tells a different story.

Puget was recommended by a friend, and my wife really wanted to buy local, but a company that tries to upsell, can't keep track of their actual customers, and then tries to spin the story - not a company I will ever recommend."
