"Great company with fabulous customer service."
"I needed a high end laptop for software development. Normal laptops and even those marketed as portable workstations do not have the capabilities I need. Having to run a database, web server, application server, several browsers, performance monitory tools, development environment, email client, etc all concurrently takes a fairly stout machine. This is easy to achieve in a desktop but considerably harder when portability is required. I started looking at gaming laptops since they are generally well endowed. I came across Puget Systems in a developer's forum and went to their website. I configured a system and talked to their sales representative. After telling him what my needs and intended use were, he made some great suggestions that actually reduced the cost. As they built the system, they posted the status and tests on their website. This is a nice touch. They shipped the computer within a week even though Christmas intervened. The computer was boxed very well and came with a binder filled with the performance and test data. The computer also came without all the junk-ware and bloat-ware you normally get - Thank You!. I am most impressed by the quality of the product and service they provided me. I would suggest anyone looking for a custom system consider Puget Systems."
"Was kept up to date on status of computer, was built and shipped out within a week. I'm very impressed by both the level of customer service during the process of choosing components, as well as the speed of completion."
"It crapped out and we sent it back. It is still being "tested""
"I have worked in the quality field or been involved with quality assurance for over 35 years before retiring. I have also along with 6 others trained over 400 people in TQM (Total Quality Management), so I know a little bit about quality and I must tell you that Puget Systems fits the very definition of a quality focused company. Never have I been so impressed with a company as this one.
From the first, in taking my order, helping me with my needs and staying within budget to their step by step approach to allowing me to know what step my computer was in to shipping on time, in fact I received the computer a few days before the date I was expecting it.
I paid a little more but would you rather pay a little more for a reputable company or would you rather risk saving a few dollars, finding that there is a problem then having to pay shipping both ways as a few other companies do that I checked out?
Right out of the box my new computer worked as promised. They went so far as to remove all of the bloat ware that comes with new computers.
Puget Systems functions as a team from taking the order, processing it, assembling it, step by step teamwork from beginning to end. Definitely a company that cares about its customer.
Thank you to Wilson and the rest of his team for a terrific experience.

"They make it easy to learn about & order their products, and are quick to offer help and advice when customizing a system. They go, in my opinion, above and beyond supporting their products. I have bought 3 systems from them, and they are now my go-to shop for computers."
"Tagline - Hardware is only (a small) part of the story.
Have you ever been at a first class hotel and experienced phenomenal concierge service? Someone being out in front of your wants/needs and not having to be asked to do anything? Exceeding your expectations by such a wide margin you are left in wonder how this can be?
This analogy is the closest I can think of when describing Puget Systems.
The actual product (in my case a custom spec'ed desktop) is top shelf as you would expect from a custom build house using only time-proven and well researched components. What is unusual (at least in my experience) about Puget Systems is their approach to the end-to-end customer experience.
From the very start (Jeff in my case) their reps want to be as involved as you want them to be in the configuration and verification of your system. I originally called to ask a single question and wound up talking with Jeff for more than 20 minutes going over the details of the system I was spec'ing. I am not unknowledgeable about computers (25+ years at HP) and Jeff's understanding of the nuances of system building actually made me consider a couple of changes that I later made to the configuration.
After the order is in, if you want to track the build, verify, test, QA and ship processes, it is all available in your Puget Systems account. Just looking at the depth of the checklists that are used during the assembly and test of your system is confidence inspiring and lets you know your system is going to arrive fully wrung out and ready to go. There are even thermal images and pictures of the internals of the system, and an exhaustive set of BIOS screen shots are on record so you know how the system is set up.
As a bonus, I received an email from Jon Bach the founder and president of Puget Systems inviting me to view a video that was made of my system by one of the Puget QA folks, pointing out various features of my actual system before it was boxed and shipped.
The packaging Puget Systems uses ensures your system will arrive unscathed unless FedEx purposely plays forklift hockey with it. The cardboard of the outer box is easily 2X the thickness of regular cardboard. The system is double-boxed and suspended by heavy foam at the corners. There is even foam inside the machine to help make sure internal components are buffered from really hard knocks. Inside the box is a smaller box with all the spare parts not needed from the components used to build the system. There is also a three-ring binder with documentation, your BIOS screenshots and benchmark results, as well as all the system/component DVDs.
Phenomenal!
Oh - and if you need support, the staff is located at their facility in Washington state and respond very quickly to questions. All the bios and pictures of Puget employees are online so you can also see who built, tested and support your machine.
If you are serious about getting a great computer for a fair price, and want to experience a level of customer support unheard of in this day and age, give Puget Systems a try. You will not be disappointed.
I will never buy a computer from any other company ever again.

"This is my second Puget this one is perfect just like my first that has been running 24/7 for 2 years with zero problems. I have exactly the computers I wanted with only the software I wanted. They are quiet, fast and run cool. I can't find enough good things to describe the experience, no stress, no complications exactly what a new computer should be.
"
"From my first contact with Puget, I enjoyed a friendly and courteous transaction. I would recommend their fine service to anyone. You get what you pay for and these people are true professionals. "
"Easily the BEST customer service I have had anywhere within recent memory! From the custom ordering process, prompt responses to technical questions about my order, updates of the build status through the robust packaging for shipment and included customized system info, EVERYTHING was simply top notch! I would not hesitate to order from Puget again and would recommend Puget to anyone looking for a custom-built silent PC system without reservation."
"I am very pleased with my computer so far.... A fair amount more expensive than my usual home machine but I think it will be money well spent."
"Everything was great except their choice of UPS for shipping to Canada. UPS changes a $70 customs broker fee - too high IMHO."
"Jeff S. was helpful from start to finish. Less than two weeks from order to doorstep. The packaging it was shipped in could have survived a trip to Mars. Every component was exactly what I ordered. Computer will be a Photoshop workhorse and I expect it to last several years. Having an option for Windows 7 (vice 8) was a nice surprise. Much more expensive than, say, an HP desktop, but much, much nicer (first class components, no bloatware, thoroughly tested, etc); you get what you pay for. "
"Quick and very competent service."
"I have just received my custom made B460i 14 inch Traverse Laptop.
In two words "Top Shelf".
1. Watch John Bach's Video, everything stated is true and more.
2. I suppose I had looked at some 10 or more Companies shelf ready Ultra Books, and these are fine unless what you want is specific, and I was.
I wanted not only a Haswell 4th Gen i7 with the integrated 5200 pro Iris GPU in a laptop... but I also wanted Samsung's Pro series 512 SSD, not RAID, not etc... and none of the major pre-built
had these, or made some other complication.
So I went looking for a customer builder, and there are several, I almost went with another builder (or so I thought) because I didn't
know Puget existed at that moment... Here is what I found... Many other builders can build a custom desk top, and advertise they can build a custom Laptop, however when you can't be switched
to a computer they can build, you suddenly are required to meet their standards of some kind, one sited the homeland security Act... at any rate I am very fortunate to have literally stumbled upon
Puget as Puget has exceeded every expectation I had and even some of their own. ( this has the quietest fan... I can hardly hear it.)
A. No outrageous something I had to provide, just what any normal over 2k purchase required. You think that should have been easy, so did I, give it a whirl .
B. No Bull Crap Period.
C. These are guys are Pro's, as they finished the build, I was able to log in and see day by day, sometimes by the hour... what was being pulled, ordered, available, who was installing what, testing,
the test results, the burn results (I might have been able to assemble something that resemble's this computer in my static environment, with out breaking something... But if something was failing,
or not running as it should I would have to have used the WTF method of elimination to find the problem child.) Puget put this computer through a major Burn in Run, sent me the results in images, and a
complete copy in rebut-able CD format with my own CD copy of the OS, drivers on and on, Over and beyond....
3. The computer arrived in perfect shape, and I even know who boxed it, as it arrived ahead of schedule before Christmas, a day before the early date by FEDEX.
Bottom Line: You do not have to know exactly what you want to have a custom machine built, these guys don't presume, but will help if you want it, if you know what you want, you will appreciate these guys.
