"$161.26 was charged to my card on July 20. On Thursday, July 29 I called Customer Service to follow-up since I hadn't received the parts or an email stating they were backordered. Several hours later I noticed an email saying my parts were backordered from Sta-Rite and I would have a tracking number Friday, July 30, or I'd receive my parts on Monday, August 2.
The parts I ordered are common to many brands, Sta-Rite, Pentair, Flotec, Craftsman, and Goulds, Berkeley, etc. Pumpproducts has an impressive presence online and gives the impression that millions of parts are always in stock. In today's internet selling methods, an online purchase typically results in a prompt email with backorder / tracking info and the customer's account is not charged until items ship. I could be mistaken but my belief is this order was not even touched by a human until I called nine days after my order had been paid for. I hope to have tracking data today. Regards, Bryan Cobb"
