Buyer Beware!

"BUYER BEWARE – READ THE REVIEWS! In our industry, we work with a lot of different companies. RadiatorExpress has been, by far, the worst to deal with. We are sharing the facts of our experience to hopefully prevent it happening to others.
On 5/28/24, using the RadiatorExpress website, we ordered a custom-built radiator, all aluminum, with an additional transmission cooler. We chose RadiatorExpress because they claim they can make any custom radiator. Which we needed because it was for an antique car. We paid $1098.76, with shipping. Rebuilding a show truck, and NOT with their product now!

"I had been shopping around for an all aluminum radiator that would work with my 92 F150 rebuild. Found one on their site that I thought would be perfect. It was late at night and I accidently ordered the one for a manual transmission instead of an auto. You would think no big deal, so I immediately emailed them about returning to get the correct one, that was on day 2 after delivery. I didn't open it right away. Waited a couple days for a response, waited 3 more days for a response, still waiting for a response. It's been almost 2 weeks and NOTHING!
Now , keep in mind this is a project restore that is being documented... Great chance for brand recognition... GONE!!
I am now going to sell it to get my money back, and go with a different company that I am going to pay a lot more for it, BUT , they actually called me to verify my order and specs.
I am not only never going to use this company again, but , if anyone in my group asks for a supplier I am going to steer them away from here.
I was literally going to have to pay over 150$ more for the correct one, so evidently they don't need the money or the business.

Horrible Customer Service

"First of all, they rely on TEXTING only. So if you have any issues, all you can do is text a hotline, and MAYBE they'll get back in touch with you a day or so later, whenever they feel like it. Returned my radiator(which I originally asked them to cancel WELL BEFORE they shipped it out, but they decide to ship it anyway, causing me to pay over $200 in return shipping cost for no reason), and I still have yet to even hear from anyone on the status of my refund even though its been delivered for over 2 WEEKS! Very unprofessional, will NEVER buy from this place again. "

"Can not speak to anybody at company about anything. Shipping is super slow and they will charge you for it even when it takes them 3 days to get product out door. Refused refund on late part"

Never again

"I would never order from here again. It costs just as much to do an return and for them to put your money back on your card than the item itself. I bought a radiator which was 3 hundred plus. It cost 90 something dollars to send it back then it took about 3 weeks to finally get a refund then they took a percentage out of that to put the money back l on my card so you don't get the a full refund of your money. So I lost all around but I'll never have to deal with them again. "

Poorly made Radiators and Radiator Wexpress doesn't back them up.

"I purchased and installed what appeared to be a nice quality all aluminum radiator from Radiator Express. It failed after three months leaking from the inside through the fins. They wanted me to buy an new unit then send the old one back at my expense. Then they would send the bad unit to the manufacturer to see if they would warranty it.
I am 100% certain that I would never see a refund. I accepted the loss and bought a radiator somewhere else.
Don't buy from this company.

Great Product

"These guys are really good at finding parts. I bugged them quite a bit to help me locate a radiator that would fit my Nash metropolitan. Michael found an option small enough to work for my limited space. I went with an all aluminum radiator that was well worth the $250 price tag. I could not speak more about the attentive customer chat on their website and the help I received. Most other companies pretty much hung up in my face when I asked about helping me locate a radiator by size! Much Appreciated!"

THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!!!

"Having an obscure vehicle like a 1963 International Scout, finding replacement parts gets very tricky. A buddy I know at the local car shows I attend, told me about these guys & said they're an absolute pleasure to work with on vintage vehicles. As sure as the sun raises in the morning, they not only did they have my replacement radiator, but also the heater core! Ordered it on a Monday afternoon & by the time I got back from the diner on Friday morning, both were sitting on my porch waiting for me. Totally made my weekend! To sum up, I Highly Recommend these guys! "

Horrible Company! Worst customer service!

"At first I was delighted to order a radiator from radiator express. My friend had actually recommended them to me. I was looking for a radiator for my ‘04 Jeep GC WJ. They had one that was just what I was looking for.... or I thought. I ordered an all aluminum radiator for $256 and got my confirmation. Sent them the billing, shipping, and credit card info. 3 days after I ordered the part they contact me saying they need to confirm my billing and shipping. I just moved to Oregon so my billing is still in Texas. They held my order. I’m now on PST and couldn’t get back to them that day. The next day I called in the morning to get it sorted out. Easy. So I thought... 3 days later! They send me an email saying they DONT HAVE THE PART IN STOCK. They also told me I was now on a 30 day back order?! Money had be transferred from my account and I had expected the radiator to arrive 2 days after the order date. As it should take. Now a week in I call them back to ask the about their inventory, and if there’s anything they can do. They said they’d call a few people to see what’s around and call me back. I waited 2 hours and no return phone call. Called in again and got connected to the same employee I talked to before. I explained the situation, yet again. He then says, “ Well we don’t charge your card till we ship your part out usually.” I wouldn’t be worried about it if they didn’t charge my card.... so then he transfers me to customer service. I’m on the line for about 45 minutes till someone finally picked up. They said, “hello?” Waited two seconds and hung up..... so I called them back, yet again. Then I was FINALLY connected to someone who I could cancel my order with. But sadly I am still waiting to get my confirmation about my cancelled order as I am still out $256. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to even someone I hated! "

Wrong part charged to return anyway

"Ordered a fuel pump. Companies application chart is wrong does not show correct part change date. Sent the wrong pump. I was Charged a restocking fee plus had to pay return shipping for their error. On top of that they wanted to know what to change on their application chart to make it accurate. Never heard of customer service here."

"I just ordered up an all aluminum for my Jeep Wrangler and it was twice as thick as the stock and still under 200 bux. Really happy with the item and the delivery time. I'd definitely order again if I needed to. Good service.

The worst customer service.

"This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. It was almost impossible to get any one on the phone. then When I finally did he sighed and put me on hold until the call terminated. I called back and the same guy did it again. His name was Robert. I finally had to be direct and tell him not to transfer me. All i needed was confirmation that my order was cancelled. The Item I ordered was on back order which was not going to meet my needs. I cannot believe companies like this exist. Radiator Express has a major Customer Service Issue. "

"This company has atrocious customer service. I placed an order on the 18th that changed to shipped on the 19th. It is now the 30th and after attempting multiple forms of communication on multiple occasions I still have yet to receive my package, a tracking number, or any information at all regarding my order. No one ever answers their "help" call line or returns messages. Their "help" email is a joke. All it does is generate a useless response that provides no information or help. I will never be ordering from this company again and don't think you should either."
