"Bought a $500 Burlington coat factory gift card a little more than a year ago, today tried to use it in the store and was told the balance was zero. Will not use raise again. It is a fraud. "
"Fixed three issues within 3 hours and made my experience great!"
"I could not get my credit card to "stick". Jarvis the Customer Service guru & I did a little trial & error and figured out that I needed to put in my other home address. Also, remember one cannot use a Debit and/or bank card.
Jarvis provided me with OUTSTANDING SERVICE today. Sold my Taco Bell gift card in less than ONE DAY.

"Our home was hit by hurricane Sandy and we bought several 100's of dollars of Home Depot card from Raise.
We had 1 card left with about $70 of value. We sold it through Raise Market in January 2016.
Recently Raise informed us that the buyer of our card claimed there was no value on it.
There was value and it turns out Raise does no investigation and takes buyers word and isn't interested in seller's input.
To make matters worse at the time it was sold Raise confirms its value and against when buyer obtains card.
Fight is unnecessary and absolutely makes wise buyers not to deal with Raise. I won't ever again."
"I bought a Sally Beauty Gift Card. Upon trying to use it, the cashier could not process it. She fumbled around with different methods for 5 minutes, while the people in line waited and eyed me down awkwardly. Downright embarrassing. I finally get home and call Sally corporate to check the GC balance and the system said it was closed with a zero balance.
Based upon reading previous negative reviews, I'm pretty sure someone from Raise.com is going to respond to this. It's probably going to be a plethora weak excuses, and tout how they are constantly improving, blah blah, instead of admitting that their business model is flawed and has no place being implemented. Raise.com has many kinks to work out. If you want the stress of being a part of their learning curve, then by all means, give them a try."
"Bought 10 $50 cards. None of them were any good. Went through trying to process a refund. On 2 of the 10 I was told I'd get an e-mail in 10 days. On the last two, I get a message that they're processing my payment and there's no way for me to apply for a refund. This is totally false. The payments processed over 10 days ago and I have the cards printed out in front of me. So I try to chat and the guy is helping other customers and I'm waiting a ridiculous amount of time.
So I you don't have time to go through all time, and if you don't have extra money to buy what you want when the cards you've already paid for are duds, then I would suggest no using Raise.com.
Isn't it convenient it's so much trouble to get your money back? Wonder how much they make on people that don't jump all the hurdles to get their money back."
"I sold gift card in diff places this is the only place that doesn't have seller support.
One was petco card when the buyer claim they cant use it,Raise hold your fund and the gift cards for more than a month leaving the seller hanging..Now when they told me they are doing better for seller support.
I tried selling them again and guess what some scumbag just decided to buy the gift-card, Order online and claim that the money is not there.
Now im losing $107.41 on giftcard....when i called them they said i have to wait another 7 business day again.and here we go again where all the seller support run away...
DEF not recommending them to be the place for selling your gift cards"
"Will not change rating until cards are received. "
"Lot of options and merchants and easy to check out. I love it."
"I was looking online to find discounted gift cards. I was looking to make a large purchase at Cabela's and was looking for coupon codes as well as other alternatives for a bigger total discount. After all coupons and discounts were applied to checkout, the total was still $400. After buying discounted giftcards from Raise (along with the $10 coupon for your first purchase), my total spent was $340! A $60 savings.
I have always been vary wary and cautious when by giftcards online, especially from sites that have different sellers because you never know when or if the card will be good. I did notice that most of the complaints about this site is that the cards ended up with a zero balance after (usually) a year of not using them. Mainly because someone else used it or it was "hacked." I really don't think I would wait to use any giftcard I bought online. My way of ensuring the cards are good, and I get to use it, is I buy it right before I plan on using (like RIGHT before) so if there's a problem, it will be handled instantly. So my advice is buy the card when you are shopping. But the card to save yourself some money on the spot. I don't think I would buy them to give away. I wouldn't want to cause the giftee the embarrassment of having a zero balance!
This site is awesome and I plan to continue using it for great deals! Thanks Raise!"
"I've saved quite a bit with very little effort. It's an excellent service. "
"I hardly pay full price again on restaurants or other stores. Raise has helped me save a lot!"
"I bought 2 gift cards to Olive Garden from them, both in the amount of $100 because I knew I was going to have a rather big gathering coming up. When I tried to use my card in store, I was told that the cards couldn't be entered. When I wrote Corporate, I was told that one card was originally purchased with a fraudulent credit card, so Olive Garden deactivated the card. They gave me $50 in return (which is 1/2 of the value of the card) and told me that the second card should be active. I was upset but thought I was just unlucky.
I very seldom go to Olive Garden, so it took a year for me to return. Now I tried to use the second card (the one that was active last I checked) and again was told that I was unable to use it. I again wrote Corporate and was told this time that my card was used by someone else.
I contacted Riase.com and was told that my case was outside their 1-year-gaurantee and there was nothing they could do. They said I should have used the gift card within 1 year. They did give me $5, for the $150 I lost.
1) I bought two gift cards and WAS going to use them both within a week if I didn't have a problem with using them in the first place.
2) I bought the gift cards and they should be MINE. NO ONE ELSE should have been able to use the gift cards anymore. It doesn't matter whether I used the cards, they should still be MINE.
I will absolutely not buy from this site ever again. "
"Love Raise! Easy way to save money! "
