"I am using Raise regularly and by far they are the best. The customer support is best in class and has always helped me out. The e-gift cards are delivered within seconds after you hit the order button. And they sell gift cards at unbelievably discounted price!"
"I love this site. Have recommened to a friend. Very pleased with Variety and good savings. Ease in using in store from my smart phone. Husband really loves it to. Can't say enough good things about this site. "
"I've used other gift card seller in the past, but stands out. There is a grand variety of businesses, of amounts to purchase, and of percentages you save. Most websites have small percent of savings, but has opportunities for a large amounts of savings. Tracking is provided on physical cards and shipping has been quick!"
"Raise is simple to use and a great way to save money. Raise is a trustworthy company with excellent customer service and I like the added security level of how they double check before adding credit/debit cards to your account. They are quick to refund if there is a problem with your order & ship out fast when you order physical cards."
"Raise is a great site to save some money on stuff that you would buy anyways. Just see if there is a gift card for the site you are planning to use."
"On January 4, I bought a giftcard on raise.com and paid with PayPal. Great -- saved a few bucks. On January 5, there was TWO charges on my PayPal account for over 250 dollars each (successive attempts mean they kept trying the charge).
I didn't find out until the week after that these were fraudulent. Only by reviewing my PayPal account did I see these charges -- over $500 !!
The work that I had to do with PayPal in trying to get the money back into my account, having to prove that these were unauthorized.... MADE THIS NOT WORTH IT!!!!
It was PayPal who found out for me that these charges came from raise.com.

"I ordered an online iTunes gift card at 2:41pm local time and received a receipt email that said it would take 24 hours to process my order. I waited... the next day at 3:17pm local time, I got an email that said further verification was needed and I needed to call them before their closed before closing (5pm their time) which was 49 minutes away. I didn't see this EMAIL until an hour later... after closing. So, I thought, just like my order, I should have at least a few hours in the morning before I need to call them to be within the 24 hour window. So I waited until the next morning and got to my computer around 9am local time. However, when I sat down to call them, I had received an email at 7:30am (local time) or 8:30am their time, informing me that my order had been cancelled. I understand the verification process was necessary but don't send out an email (which people often don't look at right away) 45 minutes before closing and then cancel the order before you say you're going to. Bad business."
"I love this website! especially love that it has an app to go along side. I love the ability to pay and purchase with just my phone. no cash or cards required! "
"Great way to save money for the things I already buy. If I'm going to the store, I just buy a discounted gift card and print it and go to the store and save money!!!"
"As I've recently adopted a dog, I'm finding out just how expensive dog supplies are. But I found out about Raise and have been saving money left and right! Even a few dollars savings goes a long way, and with how often Raise has additional discounts on their gift cards I can save even more! And being able to use the gift cards from my smartphone through the Raise app is far more convenient than wasting paper or waiting for a physical card to be delivered. I've bought hundreds of dollars of dog supplies and other necessities at a fraction of the price thanks to Raise. I can't recommend them enough."
"This is yet another great forum to keep that cash in your pocket by just purchasing through them. Great price reductions for things you already purchase, why not get a discount before you start shpping."
"Fast and efficient service with a very fast and prompt Support system, Thank you Raise.com"
"Great deal on my first order! Saved over 50% of the price of my gift card! Raise always has great deals. With a large family you need Raise to help you stay within budget! "
"I had an issue where I purchased a Home Depot gift card for $177 and when I went to use it, there was only $9 on the card. The customer service rep at Raise promptly refunded the difference with no questions or hassle. It's good to deal with a company with such good customer service. Thank You!!"
"I've used Raise for a while, and while they are one of the biggest gift card resellers I have decided to stop using them because of repeated poor experience with customer service.
1) Often times their service has been slow or unresponsive (requiring me to make multiple contacts for the same issue). I've received close to a dozen fraudulent gift cards, so this is a common source of friction.
2) Recently they froze my account without any warning or notice - I only found out it was frozen when I tried to make a purchase. I had made an order earlier that was promptly canceled with no explanation - I thought maybe the card was already sold since it was in high demand. Weeks later I found out I was barred from making a purchase, I had to call in to find out that my account was banned because they detected a Chinese IP address on my previous order. I don't know how that could have happened since I've never been to China and don't use VPNs or proxies, and their CSR seemed unsympathetic and suspicious of me on the phone.
3) The last straw was when I tried to take advantage of a heavily promoted promo code for purchases that pay using Paypal. The promotion said for "first purchases only" and since I never had used Paypal to make a purchase I thought I could use it for $10 off $20 or more. I placed an order through the app, paid with Paypal and used the promo code (and got no error message when I applied the promo code). I found out minutes later in the confirmation e-mail that the promo code did not work and I immediately e-mailed support. Support told me that the coupon code was for new users only and refused to either cancel/refund the order or give me a $10 credit. When I said the promo code details did not mention that it was restricted to new users only, support insisted that this restriction was stated on all their promotional materials. I responded with screenshots from their website that did not state a requirement of new users only - not even in the fine print - and never heard back from support about that issue again.
Edit: Raise saw this review and responded to me specifically addressing my concerns. They gave me a $10 off $50 coupon, which more or less satisfies my original concern over the PAYPAL promo code even if it took extreme lengths to get there. They said they would take my feedback over the fine print for the PAYPAL code (which did not explicitly or directly exclude existing users) to their copywriting team, and bring up the issue of invalid promo codes not generating an error message in the Android app with their mobile team. I've changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. On the plus side, Raise has a big selection and has (eventually) refunded my money every time I received a fraudulent gift card so I don't question their trustworthiness. However, I think they have some strides to make with customer support to avoid frustrating experiences like the ones I've described above."
