"I purchased a Samsung UN65F9000 Series 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV. It was a great price and I received it very quickly. I was very happy with the entire transactions and have no complaints."
"This afternoon I was called back to confirm the cancellation, Joe picked my phone and very helpful to make this transaction and promised me this brand new tv plus white glove shipping and 2 year manufacture warranty at no additional cost. I'm happy with dealing with Joe since he is willing to resolve your problem. I will give Joe a 5 star since he did his best. However I will suggest the company to put an note under the product that insurance is required for this product to prevent future confusion.
I was placed an order today and soon received an email regarding my billing and shipping address, both address are the same, then i called back regarding this issue, the customer service asked me to purchase insurance for the shipping, and the insurance is over 220, how could that be so much for a 2000 item, the insurance rate is only 2-3 percent of shipping, the charge you the shipping insurance to cover the shipping, i get a quote from ups that the shipping rate is only 240 from fl to ca, it's not what they mentioned free shipping. actually you have 2 options when you check out, one is free shipping which i was selected, another is for 69 and third options is 280 for insured truck. they told me the third option is mandatory, how could that me mandatory if i have 3 options? then i asked them refund to my credit card and i will see what will going to happen. "
"I experienced the not-so-free shipping/insurance scam (188.00), but then it got even worse. The company has refused to pay for return of the damaged Samsung UHDTV that I received. I purchased a Samsung UN65F9000 on 4/2/14, and I received it on 4/14/14. The TV looked perfect when unboxed, but when I turned it on there was an obvious impact location in the middle of the screen that had seriously damaged the internal electronics (beyond repair in my opinion). I contacted the company by email on 4/13/14, and I told them about the damage. I called them on 4/14/14, and they told me to send pictures to ****@****. I took and sent the pictures as requested on 4/14/14. I did not receive any response though. On 4/25/14 I sent them another email threatening to return the TV. On 4/28/14 I called and spoke to customer service, who then told me that I had to speak to Samsung to have the TV fixed. I called Samsung and sent them photos of both the TV and the box. On 4/30/14 Samsung called me and told me that the damage was not covered by the warranty (duh). On 5/2/14 I called and I was told that I had to call Samsung again and try harder to get them to fix the TV. I sent the photos of the TV and the box on 5/2/14 to the manager (Eric), but I did not hear back from him by 5/5/14 as promised. I purchased the shpping insurance and the extended warranty, but got zero service in return.
I was contacted by someone from BBS the next day after I originally posted this review. My damaged TV was picked up, and a new TV was shipped out. The new TV appears to be working fine."
"I was charged an additional $280 for "shipping insurance." When I contacted the company they claimed this was clearly marked on their website that any TV over 50" has to get shipping insurance.
I created another order and completed every step short of confirming my order and nowhere did it state I must pay for shipping insurance.
The "Free Shipping" is false advertising and had they CLEARLY stated this additional fee upfront I would have purchased elsewhere.
Update after receiving my TV: All I can say is thankfully the TV works. The "white glove" delivery, consisted of my $4000 TV lying face down in the back of a FedEx freight truck, the box was wet dirty and falling apart. Granted not entirely the fault of the reseller, but again certainly not as advertised or worth the additional $280 they charged for delivery.
Bigboxsuperstore contacted me within 10 minutes of posting my initial review with high pressure sales tactics from the rep and his "manager" to reverse my rating. They attempted to bribe a 5 star rating for an additional $50 off my order.
When I didn't change my rating to 5 star they then attempted to have my review removed from this site.
"The merchant claims your review is in violation of our policy #9"
At the end of the day I feel I dodged a bullet by getting through this transaction, however next time I plan to go to a reputable supplier. So buyers beware if you decide to use bigboxsuperstore.

"I was really skeptical about buying my 60" Samsung TV from Bigboxsuperstore because the price was over 500 dollars less than Amazon and this was even with the shipping insurance of $165. I ordered the TV on April 16 and got it on the 23rd. I talked to Jack who was very professional and will definitly order from Bigbox again."
"I had the same experience as another one star reviewer. I ordered a TV and was told it was free shipping, along with $20 off the original price. Then I get a phone call and an invoice telling me there's $180 "handling fee", which is because FedEx has to "handle" the item when it's shipping it. So it's a $180 shipping fee. And my card has already been charged. I called twice the same day to cancel my order, and sent two emails saying I wanted to cancel it. I received an email from FedEx saying the item had shipped. Awful.
EDITED ON 6/9/14:
I finally have a working television. I had sent the television back when they'd ignored me and my emails and phone calls. It wasn't until I reviewed it on here and another site that they responded, and also initially claimed I hadn't bought a product from them. After many, many phone calls back and forth, my overcharge of $180 was refunded. I still wanted the television for the original price, so they sent it without the insurance. It came fast, and they had included a wall mount to make up for the problem. However, we had to go out and buy different screws for the mount, as the ones included weren't long enough. The television also had a broken video chip, so I called them and they told me to contact Samsung rather than send it back. I had to make a number of calls with Samsung to have them come out and replace the chip, which was simple enough. I can't give BBS five stars like they asked because of all the frustration and time spent dealing with this, I can only raise it from one star to three stars. While I appreciated the fast shipping, the low price of the TV, and the free wall mount; the month and a half it's taken, the back and forth with customer service almost every day, the faulty screws and broken video chip frayed my nerves. "
"EDIT: I am altering my review because this seller ended up doing the right thing. After I posted my review, they tried to block my review (under a technicality that I couldn't review them because we didn't complete our transaction). Of course, the only reason we didn't complete the transaction was because of the unauthorized add-on charge, so I got the review site to leave the review up (but I'd bet a lot of other reviewers don't put in this effort). After I did this, I got a call from the sales supervisor, who honored the original price and free shipping, and who also upgraded the wall mount. That's great, but I can't give 4 or 5 stars because of what they made me go through before they would honor the original sale price, but again, they did finally come through and did the right thing.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had the exact same problem as all the other negative reviewers had. They sold me a TV, promising free shipping, and sent me a receipt confirming that. They then called a couple days later and told me they had to "switch" my order to courier shipping, which is going to cost me another $183. When I objected, they told me that the manufacturer requires this (which is untrue, and even if it were, that should be disclosed at the time of the sale, not days later in a high pressure sales call). They then tried to high pressure sell me into accepting this unwarranted and undisclosed fee.
At the end of the day, they advertise a price that they never intend to honor, and get you committed and excited about the order before they hit you with their actual price, which is hundreds more. They do this only when they have you on the phone so that they can pressure you into accepting the upcharge. Meanwhile, you've just passed up on a deal that was actually better, and wasted days and days only to find out that this store misrepresented the actual price they were charging for the product."
"We received the TV quickly, in excellent condition, and installed it with no problems. Very happy with the process and will do it again."
"Fantastic prices and great selection! "
"Paid over $13,000 for two TV's, both were delivered fast with no issue. I saved over $4500.00 buying from them. Cheapest place to get TV's with no hassle. Items were BRAND new. "
"I was really impressed with the bigboxsuperstore.com with my purchase of a brand new 75 inch Samsung LED TV. It was delivered in a timely and professional way. The set matches the description and works really well.....providing good resolution and pictures. I am most pleased and I will make future purchases with big box when the opportunity rises again."
"Got a Samsung 55" 8000 series TV and got a great price on it. I couldn't find a better price and the shipping was really quick as well. Got the TV and and TV works great. really happy with the big box store i will be buying another TV from them soon. "
"The service was very good and the TV was very cheap even though after you pay extra for insurance.I got the brand new TV and it is an amazing TV.I love to buy stuffs from Bigbox."
"Order a Samsung 75-inch television; received the quoted $20 discount and was advised it would ship with a free wall mount. Asked for a confirmation to be emailed which I never received. Waited two days and called and was advised there was a $250 upcharge for insurance and handling because they had to change to ground shipment. How else would the television be delivered besides ground? They sent me at my request an email with the invoice. Checked around for pricing and found a similar price. Sent message advising to HOLD the order. Next day received email order had shipped. Sent another email advising I would refuse delivery of any merchandise because of the added shipping charges. No response again. Checked and the TV is shipping via Fed Ex which is the normal method of shipping by this company. It appears the scheme is to add additional insurance and handling chargers for a profit margin on items. Because they have failed to respond to any email correspondence I have no interest in doing business with this company and question the ethics of the organization.
UPDATE: A sales manager contacted me after writing this review; provided me with a $122 credit on the shipping costs and offered me a screen cleaning kit to ease some of the ago caused by this experience. Even though I have not placed the television in service I am taking a more optimistic approach after finally being contacted by the company."
"Great experience with Big Box Superstore. We were able to purchase the most recent model, and at an affordable price. I would purchase items from them again. "
