"I ordered hard to locate wiper blades for an 07 C230 Mercedes Sport from this company. I ordered a couple of different types, the Bosch OEM pricey ones and some Anco Contours that appear similar but are lower cost. They shipped quickly and I had them before expected.

When they came I discovered the Anco had the wrong mounting system and would not work. I called Rock Auto and a very pleasant young lady helped me promptly. She actually called Anco to see if they were supposed to work and sure enough they were incorrect past 2003 models.

I was told since this was an error on their site not to go to the trouble and expense of shipping them back but to keep them and they would credit my CC the full amount of the purchase including shipping!!! Without having to return then they immediately refunded me!

What a great company! What a great experience! I intend to do business with this company exclusively in the future if they have what I need. This is a great company that puts their clients first and takes responsibility for errors. When was the last time you had anybody or any company take responsibility for anything? Me too, it almost never happens in todays world.

Thank you Rock Auto. You now have a lifetime client and a happy one too.

"I attempted to place an order on the RockAuto.com website this past weekend that resulted in problems that the company was unwilling to admit to or reimburse me for. After selecting the part I wanted to buy, I came to the page requesting my address and billing information. I filled out all the info and clicked the "Place Order" button. I was immediately returned to the same screen with a message saying that something was incorrect, to fix it, and click on the "Place Order" button again. Unsure what was wrong, I tried about 4 times before I gave up. The order was never placed, but 4x the charges were reserved in my bank account, cleaning it out, making the money inaccessible, and causing another payment I had made elsewhere to bounce, resulting in $40 of fees. I had to get a fax from RockAuto sent to the bank telling them they could release the funds so that they were available again. Basically, they are authorizing the card too early in their checkout system, or not recognizing that the website is dealing with the same order after the fixes are made and the "Place Order" button is clicked again. In the end, I never did purchase the product and the company was unwilling to admit that there was a problem with their website or work to keep me as a customer. In fact, the manager pretty much stonewalled me. I'm very disappointed in their customer service and hope that they fix the issues with their website for future customers."
