"I have ordered multiple time from rockauto with no issue. This time when i ordered i accidentally entered one number on my shipping address wrong, as soon as i noticed this I contacted fedex and the informed me that i had to contact rockauto to release my packages(understandable). When i contacted rockauto they basically told me tough **** and that they would not contact Fedex and that id have to wait for the package to be sent back and then reorder and pay another $50 shipping. It amazes me that they wouldnt take the Literal 3 minutes to call Fedex and correct the information rather than me wasting $50 on shipping and having to wait an extra week+ for the parts i need. Super unhappy with how they handled it, i realize it was my mistake but all they had to do was make one simple phone call. "

"Rock auto did not send all of my shipment and is blaming the carrier (DHL) that they chose to ship with, DHL in the mean time is saying that Rock Auto is responsible as they did not hand them all of the items. Not being able to contact a living human being that can actually help get the order to me that we paid $65 to be delivered overnight as it was an emergency... two days late and counting. THe site says that if it doesn’t show that it is being shipped by the 15th (for another two days) to recontact them( that is a joke, because there is not a human to contact). Just the same run around as I have been throw before. A reputable company would have been there to make sure that hard earned money is not just sitting in the warehouse and gets to the customer as well as correcting the huge mistake that was made."
"Got the wrong part. Tried to return it and the website locked up. Would not let me back into my account and there is no customer service. No phone #. Nothing! Now im out $150 with a part i can't use. I will never buy anything from rockauto again and will tell everyone i know to stay away!"

" OK so I go ahead and I filled my cart with some items when I see my total it comes up to roughly $44 including shipping. Great deal! But I decide not to complete the purchase as I’m planning to add an item. I guess your automated system recognizes that I didn’t complete the sale so it saves me a one time coupon code to save 5% on my purchase. When I decide to use the coupon all of a sudden now my shipping charges doubled making the total of the sale several dollars more. There goes the savings. "I needed an alternator for a Buick Enclave. Rock auto provides more options than just the cheapest version like my local parts stores. RockAuto also has OEM and better, and for lower prices. I was skeptical about the core return, but with Rock Auto, it was flawless. Got a quality alternator installed in my Buick. Then put the old alternator in the same box as the new was shipped in, and simply printed a prepaid $6+ FedEx return shipping label from the RockAuto web site, and dropped off the box at my local FedEx store. Only a little over $6 to ship a really heavy auto part, is amazing! Within 3 days I received an email that RockAuto had the core return. Within 3 more days, I saw my Discover was credited the core return price, less the shipping cost. I am a DIY auto repair guy, who drives a 26 year old Jeep Grand Cherokee, 13 year old Toyota Sienna, and a 2012 Buick Enclave. They've need multiple repairs and over many years, I've never had a wrong part, nor a generic part substitution from RockAuto. Sometimes I wonder if the negative reviews are people that don't know how to properly use a web site. Remember, most people who are happy with the experience don't bother writing reviews, but rather only those who have a complaint."

"RockAuto website states that the part I ordered from them should fit my car and it does NOT and that I am at fault. After sending them information about the part, photos and part #s and my VIN# via email per their request they still would not admit their website listing is incorrect. AND refuse to pay for return shipping that is more than we paid for the part originally. They state their vendor says it will fit our care but IT DOES NOT and that my car is an exception!!!! What??? Have ordered from them in the past. And yes prices are great but from reading other reviews today apparently when you have ANY issue it's always your fault and there is no customer support.
BUYER BEWARE. Save yourself the grief on arguing with them. You can't win even when you have proved your point."
"I ordered parts and they arrived broken in the box. I arranged for a replacement and returned the first order. The second order arrived fairly soon which surprised me but the shipping box had been squashed and the parts were found broken inside like the first order. No joy in getting any customer service on the return of the second (replacement) order.
I need to get the vehicle on the road and can't wait for Rock Auto to deal with the issue. I have ordered from another supplier. The prices from the other supplier are pretty similar to Rock Auto so their price advantage is not such an advantage after all.
The ordering is easy but like many others have said, their customer service is really lacking. Buyer beware.

"I have dealt with rock auto for several parts with no problem. But when I find I do have a problem with a part order. Help from rock auto is nonexistent! I ordered a part and paid for 2 day shipping. The end of 2 days and no part. The email from roak auto states shipped. So I call DHL and they stated that they have the confirmation, but the shipper has not dropped it off to them nor scheduled a pick up time. WHERES rock auto? They have no customer service number or a person you can talk to, just email. So I did and I'm still waiting. Will not make this take again!!!"
"I bought a master cylinder for my 2010 Acura TL, in July 23 and I received it in July 26. I went to see my mechanic to install it...but after the part was installed, he realized that parthe realized that part did not fit as it should be, so he removed it, to be returned. I contact “Rockauto” thru email, and their answer was that they could not receive the part back, because it had been installed, and they would not refund my money or replace the part. Don’t ever buy anything from this people, they are scams, because, I tried to contact them by phone and I couldn’t. Refund my money!!!! "
