"I purchased a pair of Callaway sunglasses from Rock Bottom Golf. The sunglasses arrived defective. There was a small rub/scratch on the right lens. I contacted Rock Bottom Golf and requested a return authorization. By the way, they charge a 15% "restocking fee" on returns. Read their policy. I received an email the next day. Here is the email: "We are sorry to hear about the issue. Do you think this was damaged in transit ?. How did the box look ?. Please email me back at the earliest convenience." I sent an email back immediately saying no the box was fine. No response. I went on the site and sent another request for a return authorization. No response. I then left an email saying I would post negative feedback on various sites and that I would also send a complaint to the state commerce authorities. No response. I guess when you deal with a company named 'Rock Bottom Golf' this is what you should expect. I'll be posting this on other sites and it will be part of my formal complaint to the state and feds. Do not buy from this company!

"Before purchasing my clubsets and other thing, I did a lot of research online and found particularly very controversial with this website, the positive is it seems their sell authentic stuffs at a incredibly low price, the negative you can find a lot of bad review about their customer services HERE.

Let me begin the story, I decided to buy a full set of callaway razr black irons on rockbottomgolf.com because they offered a free gps unit and 100 off 500 discount. Tgw.com also has the same free gps unit but does not have 100 off 500 discount. I read the reviews here, I can totally understand at this low price, you can image how many orders they probably receive and how busy the warehouse can be. The reviews here mostly targeted at they do not have a customer service phone number, everything has to be done at email, and if you need to exchange something you have to return and rebuy it.

Now here comes the part, if there is nothing wrong with my order, I will not have any experience with customer service and will just enjoy the club sets. Indeed the clubs are perfect, they are new, wrapped in factory packaging, nothing wrong. However, I did not get the free gps unit with it. I hurried back to the website and read the promotion again, so you have to add the gps to your cart, and the price will be 0 for that gps. I thought the gps will automatically come with the irons. That is like half to half mistake, they did not clear display that you “need” to add the gps, I did not pay enough attention, btw: their website is definitely not modern looking one.

The other thing is I purchased a callaway extreme warbird standbag with it, then it lacks one of the zip-on bag liner, the bag is in factory wrap, so I wonder either the factory forget to put in, or this is actually from some one return the bag and rockbottomgolf did not carefully check and then sell it.

Anyway, I write an email to the scratch mailbox later afternoon (5pm) something, I guess they already took the day off, so I received a reply next morning from a representative name Crystal Daughtrey, she explained the situation of gps unit to me, and offer me to send the gps for free. For the stand bag, because my bad description, she could not understand which part is missing. I took a picture using my cellphone and send to her, turns out the so-called scratch system can not accept attachments.

Crystal give me her personal email address so I can send out the pictures. As soon as she figured out the missing part, she took a picture and ask me to confirm if it is. And yes it is right, then she said she will send the gps and bag to me, half an hour later, I received an email with the tracking number of the stuffs, so not bad ghhh?

While I also put another order of apparels, and two of them are not exactly what I want (not quality, but color), and this time return is easy, send them an email, about several hours later, they will give you a RMA number and you ship them back.

I would say, the reason their customer service is not as good as you walk into a sports shop like Dick’s, is because the price is so low, so how much margin of profit do you think can be left for hire people to take calls and others, to built a fabulous online system. I would rather pay less for my clubs than pay more for those unnecessary things. Being said, they still have a number of people working on deal the incidents with customers, some are really nice like Crystal.

My suggestion is knowing they are on an automatic warehouse management, carefully check what you want to order before check out. Return can take sometime but still acceptable. That is just my case for other references, you may find experience different depending on what you buy and who you talk to.

"Purchased a golf club training aid, they sent me a left handed version. When contacted them, they said they only have left handed and unable to exchange. They provided a RMA number for return and I shipped the item back to them. But they never issue me the credit, when contacted them regarding the credit, they said it'll take 14 days to process credit. 14 days is up and no word from merchant. I contacted paypal (whom I pay for the transactions) and they claimed there is a 45 days windows when I can dispute the transaction.. The Merchant basically keep dragging on the credit issue date to avoid issuing any credit. I'm now disputing with my credit card company. Stay away from this crooks!"

"They have no customer service by way of phone and the e-mails are automated!

So if you make a mistake or are misled during the order process you will not be able to get the order fixed or corrected.

You will recieve the product that you ordered and you will be stuck with it. They will not exchange.

They will however allow you to return products within 30 days if the product has'nt been used and you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. The credit may be refunded in a month or so.

I would'nt say that they are an aweful on-line store but you must be sure that what you order is what you think it is, double check your orded before you place it !!!

"RockBottomGolf, as a company, is a complete joke. I went online to order a golf club travel bag for my overseas vacation. I liked that RockBottomGolf guaranteed a 2 delivery, especially since I was paying an additional $30 for shipping to assure it would arrive before my trip. I placed the order on a Monday morning and was sure I'd receive it by end of day on Wednesday. After placing the order, I received an email from Yahoo (the shopping cart they use) letting me know the order number- the email also let me know i could track my shipment. However, I wasn't able to track the shipment with the number they provided, in fact, RockBottomGolf's system didn't recognizance the number for the 3 days after my order- I was never abler to track my shipment. I tried to locate a customer service number on their website. The number I found was a sales line- they want you to submit all customer service inquiries online. I called the sales line anyway, nobody answered and I ended up getting a voicemail many times.

I submitted my inquiry online, just to confirm I would receive my item 2 days after my order. I ended up getting a response (I've saved all emails) letting me know my item was actually being sent by a vendor, and RockBottomGolf couldn't guarantee a delivery date. NOWHERE in the ordering process was I told a vendor would be shipping this item, nor was I told that if a vendor did ship the item, the 2 day guarantee would not be given. I was misled. Here is the response I got "If it was being sent out by us, then we could control that making sure to get it to you in the 2 days. We can not control vendors. In this case the item is being shipped from them. We have told them to get it out asap but again we can not control them as to when they actually will ship it out." I ended up writing back and forth with the customer service agent "Scratch" roughly 8 time. He said "sometimes unforseen circumstances do arrise, just like with anything else in life." How was this unforeseen? Why am I being given life lessons? How is this being turned around on me? The emails went back and forth, RockBottomGolf never once answered my questions about the misleading delivery guarantee, my request for a refund, who the manager there is, and more.

I ended up having to go to a local golf store to buy this item for my trip, because it did not arrive on time. I wasted money and time, all because I was misled by a false guarantee. The customer service is a joke. It appears as though one person is running this entire operation, and they don;t care about the customer. I will never do business with the company again, and I've made it my mission to inform people that this company is a rip-off.

"I find this company to be dubious or fake. Have placed an order in March 2012 and till date have not received the items. They promised to have shipped the items which never arrived. They have given a wrong tracking reference and when you demand the refund they are asking for a return courier reference.
It is truly ridiculous. How can some give a return reference even without receiving the shipment. Their customer service is horrible. No number to contact. Their staff member Mikie does not even answer the emails properly. My transaction was US$ 125. They are not giving any details of my order. If anyone is planning to use this company, please be aware. They do not act professionally and seem to be taking you around in circles. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Dont be at loss like me.

"Rock Bottom Golf's customer DIService is exactly that. They are NOT HELPFUL and do not care about the customer, they just want their money and if they send you the wrong thing then this is their solution: you pay the shipping back to them, the wont refund your original shipping and ohh yea they charge 15% restock fee ALL for their mistake.

DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

"I read a lot of bad things about rock bottom golf and hestitated to place my order but given the small amount (125usd) I was willing to take the risk. The same set of golfclubs were for sale at Academy Sports for 299usd. I ordered them on Sunday and got them delivered by FedEx on Thursday. They arrived in perfect condition with the orginal sealed packaging. We got the tracking code from Rock bottom golf. I would certainly order again."

"ORDERED A SET OF ADAMS GOLF CLUBS. CLUBS WERE NEVER DELIVERED. RBG STATED IF THE CLUBS COULD NOT BE FOUND THEY WOULD REPLACE THEM. WHEN PRESSED, THEY FINALLY STATED FED EX DELIVERED THEM, IF THEY WERE STOLEN, THAT WAS MY PROBLEM. VERY POOR SERVICE. WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN."

"I bought à yes putter. When it arrived it was not Factory sealt it had no original yes grip and it was not brand new. It seems that i bought à bad copy of à yes putter. I don't even try to sent it back. I live in THE netherlands.

I could know you can not get à original yes putter for 40 bugs.

Don't sell goods by this shop They sell fake instat original.
