"Sells false advertised merchandise. Bought two inexpensive wedges that were suppose to have True Temper shafts. One snapped at connection to head first day used, after checking neither had True Temper shaft. Returned both but they returned one not broken. Other provided gift certificate, like I would purchase anything from them again. Rock Bottom's response to me via email is who would ever put a clone or fake shaft on such an inexpensive club. Well anyone buying a more expensive club will be checking serial numbers and shafts, etc to verify authentic. If you buy a clearance $25 wedge you probably wont but their profit margin will sure be a lot higher w/o any question asked. Already filed a complaint w/Attorney General's office and BBB."
"This is the 3rd order I have placed on RockBottomgolf.com and have been very satisfied everytime. I just bought my wife two left handed ladies woods by Adams. Tracking my shipment was very easy using the confirmation emails they would send me on the status of my order. They do let you know that orders have to exceed 500.00 to require a signature on delivery. But by using their easy tracking methods, I was able to plan accordingly. I have bought two heavy putters, as well as a set of irons from them. And have been very happy with each order. They are inexpensive as well as provide an excellent inventory, even for left handed lady golfers. I would reccomend them to anyone. Plus I love the different bonuses they offer, such as free shipping (like before fathers day, or free product) Great Job!"
"Rock Bottom Golf has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, online or otherwise, and should be completely shut down and banned from Ebay. I ordered $200+ in equipment from them, which was never actually received, b/c of their horrible shipping policies. Basically anything less than $500 (ridiculous #), they do not require signature upon delivery. Almost all companies require signature at this point (Amazon requires on anything over $50).
I contacted Rock Bottom after my package wasn't received, and basically told "tough luck." They have no phone # to reach customer service, and they respond to emails without adequately answer your questions or addressing your concerns. They are not doing anything for me, and I'm left filing claims on my credit card to get the money refunded. "
"I had a mixed experience with Rock Bottom Golf. Their prices are quite good as I picked up some nice golf polos ranging from $8 to $20 along with a large towel for $5. However, the towel shipped to me was slightly different (extra, stupid sounding text in large print).
When contacted, the owner of the site replied in about a day and would reply to subsequent emails in about the same amount of time. After sending him pictures, he told me I would receive a refund. However, I ended up having to follow up twice before my refund came in about 3 weeks after it was promised and 4 weeks after the vendor was first contacted."
"Rock bottom dot com advertized on there site women's golf clubs, in fact they were men's. After trying to get them to cancel the order because they did not have the right clubs in stock and could not meet the 24 shipping guarantee as advertised (read below). They even told me that the clubs were red (misleading) when women's clubs are yellow/gold. Ebay would be a better place and less of a hassle to purchase from. Please do a search for rock bottom because I'm going to post the email threads and the ad.
First Question: Hello,
The order listed above shows red headed clubs on your web site for the women's set. The men's set has red heads and the women's set has gold/yellow heads. What color is the set you are sending.
Answer:
Greetings:
Thanks for the inquiry. The Adams Golf- Ladies Idea A3 OS 4-SW Irons Graphite is red.
Cheers,
Scratch
This was my following request:
Can you please cancel the order the a3 os I'm looking for are gold/yellow.
The cancel policy does not have cover misleading ad's and this is NOT a automated process.
They changed their web site to 2 times over the past couple of days.
First change was to cover up the women's clubs
Second change was to not guarantee a 24 hour shipment.
This tells me they are changing the html code on the fly and will reflect whatever they need it to!!!!
Be careful
Last words, Watch out for these guys!!

"I was looking for a couple of clubs to round out a set of Adams irons I bought at a B&M store. Since I liked the irons so much I decided to stick with the Adams brand. I search around and found Rockbottomgolf.com had the clubs I wanted at the absolute lowest prices I had seen.
So as I do before any internet order from a site Ive never heard of, I headed over here to see the reviews. Its amazing, it seems every review of RBG is either a 5 or a 1, there is no middle ground.
I decided to go ahead and place the order as it was under $100. If it had been several hundred I may have been more hesitant based on the reviews here.
I ordered on April 7, 2009. Order was shipped the next day and arrived on the 10th. I did pay extra for 2 day delivery, but the order was processed and shipped very quickly.
Product was brand new, packed nicely, and overall an excellent value from RBG.
I realize not everyone will get the same experience. Even the best of the best companies will have unhappy customers if an order is messed up.
I personally wouldnt hesitate to recommend RBG and would buy from again."
"This is the worst company I've ever tried to do business with online. I ordered 2 shirts from them through Amazon a full month ago (12/06/08) and had to pay expedited shipping charges to Hawaii, but have not received the shirts from them yet!!! Turns out they never sent out the order in the first place (thought they did make up a FedEx number to send me). I contacted them & reminded them that I paid for expedited shipping, hopeful that since it was expedited, I should have received my purchases by Christmas. They apparently did not use expedited shipping services. Someone from their company keeps emailing me & pestering me to remove negative feedback. They think that admitting to a mistake & saying they'd refund shipping is enough, even though I still have not gotten what I purchased!!!"
"Good experience. Product was shipped out next day and arrived with excellent packing, double boxed. Great product in new condition. Would give this company an excellent rating for product quality and price. Very satisfied with purchase."
"Let me start by saying I haven't been to re-seller ratings in a while, I guess I have been taking for granted the quality service offered by most online companies today. However this isn't one of them. I recently phoned an order in and was emailed conformation in about 15 minutes. Sounds good but the order was wrong. I immediately emailed back and followed up with several phone calls. I was finally told it would be corrected but 10 days later, 15 emails and numerous phone calls I still am not sure it is corrected. I was given every excuse in the book and actually had the wrong items sent a second time and told "that's ok just keep them". Finally a voicemail and email threatening to file a complaint and cancel payment got me a call back. A very shrill women said she would get the right product out overnight but of course I heard that before. NO apology for the lying staff or mis-representation. It would seem this is the normal course of business for this company after a little research on the internet.
For high quality golf products and service I will stick with Golfsmith,Edwinwatts, and TGW. If they make a mistake they go out of their way to make it right and they rarely make them.
Two valuable lessons learned (or re-learned), Always research online retailers prior to purchase , and if there is one company a lot cheaper than everybody else for the same product be skeptical.
Rock bottom golf in retrospect, is just that. It is the bottom of the barrel and I will be sure never to purchase there again."
"I purchased three dozen provi golf balls from this store and never received them. They say it was sent out and therefore is not their problem. I however feel that if I pay for something and PAY FOR SHIPPING then it is the repsonsibility of the store to make sure the shipment gets delivered, which it clearly did not. I will never do business with this store again and strongly advise all others to avoid it as well. They have not been helpful or responsive at all."
"I bought an entire set of clubs (Driver, woods, irons) from RBG. They arrived promptly and were brand new.
However, my driver head cracked early in the first round that I used it.
I received an RMA and sent it back and within 2 weeks I had a new driver that is now rock solid.
Overall a pretty good experience. I would do business with RBG again but they are no Newegg in terms of RMAs."
"I have placed multiple orders over the spring for the upcoming golf season. Orders have been placed directly thru Rockbottomgolf.com, Ebay and Amazon.com. All orders have come thru just fine, packaged well, good communication with tracking #'s, estimated ship dates, etc. Great place to buy last year's model at a significant discount. "
"Purchased the Taylormade Rescue club from their Ebay auction on August 6, 2007 and NEVER received the item. I sent them multiple e-mails and made multiple phone calls and finally got a message a few weeks later that the item is no longer in stock.
So I requested a refund. Fast forward 4 months later (December 2007) after more messages, they finally contact me by saying they will refund my money.
Fast forward to January 2008 and I am still waiting for my refund.
I have ordered items from them in the past and had no problems, but if you have to deal with their customer service it SUCKS. You should not have to send 20+ e-mails, make multiple phone calls and get virtually no response or follow up. They still have my money and they gave me nothing but headaches.
They basically stole my money and apparently there is nothing I can do about it. At least if I was mugged, I could call the police."
"My order shipped very quickly, however, they require in-person signature on deliveries. So, if you're single and work, that makes in-person signing very difficult. I called and asked to waive that requirement, and I was told flat-out "NO", and that there was no other way that they were willing to help me...not even willing to comprimise or accept a signed statement from me telling them that I would accept responsibility for the delivery drop-off. They are more worried about a measley $350 than keeping a long-term customer who would probably have ended up paying them thousands and thousands of $$$'s over the course of a lifetime.
I found their customer service attitude very poor, so much so that I will never shop from them again. Thankfully, FedEx has excellent customer service, and was able to make the delivery around my schedule."
"I have used Rock Bottom Golf on at least a half dozen occasions in the last year and have been most impressed with product quality and customer service before and after the sale. This is, in my estimation, the only place on the web to shop for golf supplies. Ease of use and peace of mind highlight each and every transaction."
