"Recently ordered camera at great price, but then had misgivings about purchasing this older model. Called back next business day to cancel order. Spoke to Kyle who informed me that my credit card had already been charged and the item was being processed for shipment. I found this doubtful and difficult to believe. I explained it was my experience that charges are not processed until item is actually shipped and a confirming tracking number emailed. We discussed this situation a bit and he offered store credit toward another camera, but I explained I did not feel comfortable to commit to another purchase and wanted my credit card fully refunded regardless of whether or not I would purchase other merchandise. I've not had this problem with any other merchant before. Kyle agreed reluctantly (lost sale) to refund the original purchase price back to my card -- after reading far too many negative reviews about their up-selling mindset, the refund conveyed a reasonable customer service they need to show in order to create sustainable customer trust. UPDATE: Rythercamera re-credited purchase price back to credit card, one week after original online order. If you know exactly what you want to order and Rythercamera has the product, this place can be a good deal. But beware of the up-selling tendencies above and beyond your original intentions and expectations. "

"Be careful with RytherCamera. In my case, they didn't honor the advertised price using foolish arguments. This attitude remember me some Caribbean stores that tell you a good price but that only sell you the product if you buy overprices accessories. Wouldn't be more reasonable advertise something like “call for price”?"
