"I have not received my entire order even though I have been billed. I have been promised delivery on several occasions but after 2 weeks ,I received no order. I have recently left messages to return my call without success. "
"Where do I start. I purchased a high dollar Panasonic P2 / AG-HPX370 camera from Victor at Ryther Camera. After two days, no confirmation. I finally got in touch, They had the wrong e mail address. When that was corrected, their e mail confirmation to me had my first and middle name with no last name on the order... WHAT?
Then I noticed that they had the WRONG ADDRESS! I was flabbergasted. After many calls & e mails I did finally receive the equipment.... the tri pod included in their special deal will not work on a panasonic p2. it was cheap & flimsy & was not designed to hold a high dollar camera. Get this, the supposedly NEW high dollar memory card (999.00) was not new... it was USED. It had someones home family videos on it.... I immediately called & finally got them to replace it with a new card. Since it was their fault, I insisted & they agreed to pay for the shipping charges on the used card that they sent me..... several weeks later, they still have not credited the $14.12 shipping charges on my visa card.... I’m tired of the lack of responses.....
Today I decided that Victor & Ryther camera can have the $14.12.... I am canceling my Visa card & getting a new one........I don’t even want an active Visa card in their files....I can document EVERYTHING that is written here. I even saved the unknown family video to my files along with all of my e-mails of their confirmation which had my last name omitted & address spelled wrong. I have looked at Rythers lackadaisical responses to many many other complaints & I’m sure the same will apply here but the fact remains.....their follow up on an order is horrendous & appalling! Never will I do business with these people again, EVER! I am just glad and thankful to be thru with the most painful business transaction of my life.

"I've read a lot of reviews of Ryther... people either seem very satisfied or very unsatisfied. My experience was with Kevin, and I have to say it was one of the BEST retail experiences I've had. I am a pro and need two Nikon D4's in a hurry. I needed next day delivery on a Saturday for a job that night. Kevin delivered big time and everything was as promised- US models, all all the accessories ordered, delivered by 10am Saturday. I saved close to $1500 total including tax.

There was a small mixup with Paypal (payment did not go through) that was resolved promptly with a short phone call. The support person was very polite and helpful. I received my lens within a few days and I'm happily taking photos."

"Ryther Camera sounds new to me as I've been ordering items online and this isn't the store I usually go. Little did I know that when I tried it, I will experience the super excellent customer service I have ever experience in online shopping. Not only are the customer service representatives helpful, skilful and smart in handling their customer questions and concerns but they always extend extra mile to get their customers satisfied and their concerns addressed. Steven Warren of the sale department stood out by being not only customer-friendly but personally concerned about his customer and his satisfaction. He always spends time with me from the start to the finish of my order. When I don't understand something, he was always there to explain and help me understand so I can make an informed decision. When the items were not able to be received by the person I intended my ordered items shipped to, everybody in the Ryther Camera, all the departments especially Steven Warren spent time and energy and found the way I could be assisted in my problem. They all cooperated and extended their time and assistance in addressing my concern. I know that having the item shipped to where it was intended to be, they no longer have to worry about it but when I called them and asked for their help, they didn't think twice and Steven Warren mobilized all his people to have another item shipped to me. What a wonderful merchant they are. If everybody else in the business is like them, I don't see why any customer will ever have a problem at all. They have helped and assisted me every step of the way. I really like them a lot for their superb service.

"Ordered about $4k worth of video camera and accessories. In a short time my well-packed order arrived. My order came with all but 3 of the items I had ordered. The shipping list was slightly different from my quoted items so I called to inquire/complain to collect the missing items. When I called the phone was answered promptly and a guy took all my info., gave me the "Sorry for your inconvenience" and said my items would be shipped out on Monday. A few days later I got my second well-packed box with the 3 missing items. I was billed what I agreed to so no problem there. Overall I would give these guys a pretty solid review. The salesperson helped me with the order as well customizing my package for my specific camera. I may have paid a little too much on further review of the camera prices, but that isn't their fault. I just didn't dig deep enough for the biggest discount. They did offer a nice collection of accessories which some of the cheaper re-sellers didn't offer or make easily available. That's the review. Hope it helps."

"To be honest I wasn't having the best treatment ate RytherCamera, and I almost didn't proceed with my purchase, BUT Victor, from RytherCamera called me and everything changed. He is a fantastic salesman and I think he owns the shop. I am from Brazil and needed the camera to be delivered fast and I didn't have anymore time to loose. Victor was very helpful and did everything that was in his power to help me. To sums it up: I got my camera Canon 60d in 24h without any problem. RytherCamera has the best prices in the market and their products are reliable. With Victor I would buy again.

RUN!!! You see a lot of reviews here OK'ing this company but I have to assume they are from people who have no clue what they're doing or talking about or fakes - look at YELP. First off I ordered at the low low price because of the reviews here, expected the phone call to upgrade of course and got it - tells me it's not the US model and for $1,000 more he'll upgrade to the US - OK, warranty is worth it so do it. 30 mins later get another phone call to confirm before they ship the IMPORT. Wait, what? This new guy on the phone now tries to sell me the US version for over $2,000 more than that, so in other words now talking $3,000 more and $2,000 more than the camera lists for at all other stores. I cancelled and was done, though he kept trying to tell me what a good deal it is. Listen, I've been a photographer for a couple decades now, don't try to lie to me. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN SOME MORE. Import = no warranty from Nikon/Canon...you get a store one, which will probably not be good once they change their name and move onto other suckers willing to price shop. Lying on the phone, not selling you US models, pushy, overall horrible experience!"
