"RytherCamera offered not only a huge selection of products, but a number of different packages to include various accessories so that there were many options available. I was able to find the package that best suited my wants and for an incredible low price -- considering everything it came with. My only criticism was that I was upgraded to FedEx shipping (for free!) and was told I'd be provided a tracking number. I never received confirmation the item had been shipped or a tracking number until I called and asked. I'll say this though: their deals can't be beat!"

"Ordered camera on 6/26, found out it was grey market item with NO WARRANTY in US. Called 6/27- 10 am, spoke w/"Victor" cancelled order. Received email saying there would be no charge to my account. Today, 6/28 the charge is there, NO CREDIT PENDING, Ryther has lied to me. Further action pending..
UPDATE 7/4: The $609 charge on my Master Card IS STILL THERE!
Victor keeps saying that a credit has been approved! Why is this amount still on my card???
Update: The credit appeared on my card statement 7/13, the card has been cancelled.
Final update: 7/21, credit received, no further action. Victor has stayed in contact.

"Bought a Sony digital camcorder back in Feb 2011 from Ryder after another company tried to pull the ol' Bait 'n' Switch (Advertise one camera model really low, send an e-confirmation but not the unit, then, after you get tired of waiting and call them, say you need this or that to make it work and try to charge > $50 handling to go with the "shipping". Also not too satisfied w/the shipping co. who, despite requests to the contrarym would only come when you are at work so you wind up driving to your warehouse to fetch your purchase. BottomLine is that the Ryder portion of the purchase was straightforward, fast and professional. I would both use them again and recommend them to others. MazzJohn in San Antonio"

"I purchased a Sony a300 from Ryther Camera and was very pleased with the camera. I was also pleased with the customer service that Ryther Camera extends to its customers. I have received several phone calls from Ryther just to follow up on their service. This is rare even from larger companies.

I would do business again with Ryther Camera anytime.
Their fast shipping and customer care is exceptional.

"Ryther Camera has a solid, easy to navigate website, and easy ordering process. I bought a Canon T3, and thier price was signifigantly lower than anyone elses, so I didn't expect much in the way of customer service. I also selected the free shipping, which they were very clear would take up to 2 and a half weeks, even though I live litterally a couple hours from the store itself. Customer service answered promptly, and although they were a bit short with me in tone (again I don't expect world class customer service when I'm paying less) they did answer all of my questions. Shipping took almost exactly two and a half weeks, which is rediculous, considering the only other options was to pay $40 for 2 or 3 day delivery or more. All in all, this company delivered exactly what they promised."

"RytherCamera is a great company with a LOT to offer! I completed my order earlier this week and in spite of some technical difficulties (on my side), their customer service was impeccable!
I must have called their customer service number about 10 times and each time they were patient with me, extremely personable (they knew my name lol) and they helped me to complete my order successfully.
This company has a vast variety of electronics and neat packages that could suit any budget. In addition to these outstanding qualities, RytherCamera's prices are great! If you're looking to purchase a camera or electronic item, give RytherCamera your business. You won't regret it!

"I had an issue with the shipping dates and the various explanations I was receiving from Customer Service, but the manager called me to try to clear things up. He definitely cares about his company and its reputation.

Perhaps I got upset prematurely, I would just suggest reading fine print when choosing a shipment method, particularly from a drop-ship company.

"I ordered a Canon 60D body only and a Canon battery. The invoice reflected a higher price than the web site advertised. When the order arrived, I noticed that the battery was not a Canon battery but another brand. I called Ryther and was told that the price issue would be resolved with a credit to my charge card and a return goods authorization will be issued for the battery. I did
return the battery and when I received my charge card statement, the credit did not appear. I called the Ryther billing dept and spoke to Doraine who explained that the credit was issued on 5/27/11 and must have missed the closing date of my card statement. She was most helpfull, pleasant, knowledgable and a pleasure to speak with. Ryther has proved that they are truly committed to providing the perfect customer service enviornment. What a pleasure it is to encounter such a wonderful, genuine, customer service oriented company!

"DON"T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ HERE! I did and they sold me a gray market camera. It came in the wrong box that was too big for the camera and allowed the camera, disk, parts to bounce around. Since this review (edited here), the owner of Ryther, Victor, called me, was very apologetic, and said they would replace the camera with a USA version at no extra charge which is why I have changed my wording and my rating.
