"I must admit that I was wary of buying an item for such a large amount of money...online. I read a few reviews of RytherCamera before placing my order and most were positive. It is always that one that will throw you off. But, they were the best deal for the Canon T1i that I had my eyes on. I am a part time teacher who is trying to build a side income with photography and making this kind of purchase is risky.

After much deliberation, I made my order and waited. The next day, I received a phone call from them trying to sell me on an extended kit for the camera that included all sorts of goodies. That same deal was offered when I purchased the camera online and I personally thought the extra card, battery, cleaner, etc. wasn't the quality that I wanted. I didn't appreciate being called and having them try to sell it to me again. When I declined, the representative was rude and claimed if I was going to be a good photographer, I should buy this.

The camera arrived in great condition. The only thing that caught me off guard was that there was no Canon tape sealing the box. Upon further review, it was clear nothing had been tampered with. The camera itself is incredible. But that is another review in itself.

In all, RytherCamera was the cheapest, the deliver exactly what they foretold, the customer service could be a bit better. I might actually buy from them again if they were the cheapest for whatever product I am looking for."

"I placed the Canon T2i body on Aptil 25 with free shipping, and it arrived today, 5/12. However, the warrenty card is not included in the box. Table top tripod, carrying case, and cleaning Kit & Screen Protector are not in the package as promised on the website, either. I wrote an e-mail to them just a few minutes ago. I wish I could receive those missing items as soon as possible. I called them several times, in which they put me on hold for several times, too. I wish the communication could be more smooth. By the way, I ordered the camera body only, but it comes with a "body + lens kit" box.

"I placed an order for a Canon Rebel T2i & 18-135 lens. I got a confirmation email immediately after which said since I chose free shipping, it would take 3-4 days to process and 2-2.5 weeks to receive it. And there's also a 3% charge to cancel. Maybe this was in fine print somewhere ahead of time, but I didn't see it. It would of been nice to know before I placed the order, but luckily I wasn't in a hurry to receive it so oh well.

Then I get a call the next day to "verify" my purchase. Really it was just to sell me a bunch of other crap. The guy on the line told me I'd need a battery. I said doesn't it come with one? He said yes but it only lasts 20 minutes. BUT, he could sell me another battery that would last much longer at the "special" price of $179. He also could sell me an 8 gb memory card at a 4 gb memory card price of $69.99. He pushed the warranty hard too but I told him I'm good with just the Canon 1 year warranty. He said it doesn't come with a Canon warranty, it's an import model. I specifically looked for this when ordering, and I told him I know it said it came with the USA warranty. He said that the company gives a 90 day "USA" warranty on it, but it's not the Canon warranty. And if I thought I could the USA model for $999 I was crazy. He said they don't even wholesale for that price. By this time I was totally fed up with his lies, sales technics, the ridiculous prices he was quoting, and the way they try to get people to believe it's a USA model when it's not. I started telling him how much other sites were quoting for the same exact things and the USA model... and then he made some remark about me doing all my research and being cheap. Even if they were selling this at the lowest price on the internet, I would gladly pay more to order somewhere else. I would not recommend ordering from this company to anyone.

*Update - after seeing this review the manager Kyle called to apologize. He explained that the employee I spoke with was new and he couldn't believe he said these things. I appreciated the call and the fact that he acknowledged this employee's actions were wrong and didn't make excuses for him. He tried hard to make things right, so I bumped my review up a star. Hopefully it was just a one time occurence..."

"I looked for a digital Canon camera for a long time, both used and new. I just couldn't find what I wanted at a reasonable price until I came across RytherCamera on the internet. They had exactly the models I was considering and had them at a much better price than anywhere else. I had seen older model used cameras for the same price they were selling the new ones.

I phoned them and found them very helpful and accomodating. They asked about how I planned to use the camera and recommended some models to my attention. They suggested the lens filter, some changes to the battery pack, small tripod, and gave me the option of lenses.

When I received the Canon 2Ti, it worked perfectly. Everything we discussed was included and the order was totally correct. It was very well packed!
