"I bought recently a canon EOS Rebel T2.
after many weeks comparing prices on the web, Ryther camera was really the cheapest.
I was called by Ryther just after my order to check if I needed something else but noone tried to force me to buy more.
I received my order in perfect shape two days after with the high power battery I wanted.
I'm really happy with my EOS now.
Ryther seems to be a serious team and the prices are usually great.

"I was a little worried by the reviews, but I decided to risk it anyways. The positive reviews appeared legit and some of the negative reviews were whiney as expected. The price was at least $50 less than amazon/buy/overstock etc. I was called by customer service after placing the order online. I think it was a day or two after... The guy told me the black camera I ordered was out of stock but he could ship me a silver model instead. I agreed and the package was delivered on time if I remember correctly. The silver camera was in a box for a black one, which confused me...the camera was in perfect condition. It made me wonder what happed to the box for the silver model, but oh well, everything was wrapped perfectly. The bonus screen protector and stand work well. Also, I noted that the price of the cameras I was shopping for (NEX, S90, G12) varied almost daily...it was like watching stocks go up and down $5/10...I seemed to buy at a low point. A month later the price was much closer to the big companies. I've had no problems with my camera so far. Very satisfied."

"When I sent my Nikon out for repairs, I needed to acquire a new camera asap. I checked out a small number of online sources, based on a Google search. The next morning, I called Ryther to make sure that they had a Nikon D700 in stock. Yes!
I made the purchase. The price was fairly close to Nikon Retail, but I know that this camera is in short supply, and the recent events in Japan will make it ever more difficult to obtain. The salesman said to allow one to one & one-half week to receive it, but I was surprised to find FedEx made the first attempt to deliver in only ONE day! I accepted delivery with the next FedEx delivery.
The camera was well packed and in pristine condition. It appeared that someone may have opened the package to look at the camera, but other than a wrinkled plastic bag, everything was just what you would expect with a new Nikon purchase.
It was only when I asked, that I was told that this camera did NOT have a US warrantee. I was hesitant to purchase, but decided to get it because of the tight supply. I DID purchase the 3 year service contract, which I was told was with a Nikon Authorized repair facility. I have owned Nikon for years, however, so really do not expect to have need of this ad-on.
With the camera, I asked for four 2GB CF cards. I had asked for Lexar, so when the package came, I was a bit disappointed to find four "slow speed" SanDisk CF cards. From previous experience, I knew I would not be happy with them, so called and arranged to return these items. No problem.
Overall, I am very pleased with Ryther, and their service. Would I use them again? Sure."

"RytherCamera - let me warn you not to order with them anything! This company is not professional, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I ordered Canon 5D Mark ii more than a week ago and during this time I got random calls from customer service and billing departments. Representatives were trying to verify my identity because something was making them to believe I am a fraud. They insisted that I would send them the scans of my credit card and my ID - and this is before they tried to verify the authenticity of my card with my bank! I called their number couple of times and emailed as well. I was assured that I am approved and that the order will be sent right away and that those emails I am getting is just automated response and they will take care of that... Well guess what - the next day I see in my inbox a new email stating and demanding the same - scans of credit card and ID. I lost 8 days and I have a photo job coming up. They jeopardized my project and now I am trying to cancel an order with them. All in all, highly would not recommend to work with them if you are a serious photographer and need fast and professional service!
UPDATE:
In response to RytherCamera comment - the communication over the email and over the phone with this company was very inconsistent AND I should add the last conversation I had with this company was VERY unprofessional, I was yelled at and it took me some time to get a cancellation confirmation number out of this very rude customer service agent. By the way I am NOT an international customer, I am a US customer...
For the future clients who are thinking to order with this company or not here are the facts: if you are willing to send the scans of front and back of your credit card and your passport with photo ID (that is what they requested from me) - go ahead. I think it is too much to ask of the customers especially after customer called, emails and suggested more secure ways for the customer to verify my identity."
