"If you dread mattress buying but also know that buying something as important as a good night's sleep for the next years....Saatva is the answer. I did a lot of research on the internet with subsequent in-store mattress testing but paying $3,000+ put me back to square one as such a heft price tag did not make financial sense to me. I then decided to do a more thorough search on the internet (and of course, Facebook picking up that I was searching for a mattress) when an ad for Saatva came up I promptly clicked on it. I read and reread all the specs and especially the reviews. This made sense, paying $1,800 for a King mattress with separate box springs (much easier when carrying it up three sets of stairs). I actually placed my order that same night (and this is after several weeks of mattress-hunting. Their online "chat" person was a tremendous help and answered my question. After I placed my order, I told her my husband was a Vet and could not believe when they credited us with $50!
The bed arrived within 2 weeks of placing the order even though they indicate much more than that as a delivery date. The gentleman that scheduled the delivery was very polite and accommodating.
The delivery people were friendly and very professional.
OK, so I did check the chart on high the bed would be but it came out to be too high. and being a King sized mattress, it looked like a ship in the bedroom! :) We ordered the 8" box springs and the 14" mattress. They use a 5'3" lady on the chart. I am 5'6" and it was higher than on the picture, so as a suggestion, add about 3" when doing your calculations based on the chart. I measure the height of the bedframe but it came out too high. I felt really bad to ask to exchange the box springs for the lower ones as I thought this would be a smaller change than the mattress per se. They were very nice and after a $99 payment, the exchange was confirmed. The lower box springs were delivered this morning and again the same experience of the polite gentlemen to schedule the delivery and the great delivery service.

Oh, and if you want to know something about the mattress...? It is prefect - my husband is smiling all the way. It is the plush (their best-selling one) mattress - very comfortable yet firm. I would HIGHLY recommend this mattress. Much better than the memory foam ones that limit movement. Money well spent."

"Ordered a"luxury" firm mattress and this thing is hard as a rock. Contacted the customer service and got some BS about a break in period of 3 weeks. They say it is shipped extra sturdy because the mattress is going to last for 15 years. So in 3 weeks you're telling me it is already starting to fall apart? I haven't slept since getting this horrible mattress. I only bought this mattress because of the positive reviews online and I am starting to wonder who is really putting these online. As far as the customer service is concerned they are nice when taking your money but when you complain watch out. They offered to send me a mattress topper to help, but why? They obviously know how hard the mattresses are and should make them less firm if they really want to please their customers. They didn't even offer to exchange it for the softer version. Horrible company in my opinion. "
