"I have what seems like a simple, newbie problem. I contacted Sainsmart support 5 days ago, but I haven't gotten any meaningful response. I'm in touch with a rep named Hong, but he seems to be dependent on other people who haven't responded to him.
Meanwhile, I can do nothing. I finished the build on my Prover a week ago, and all basic operations of x,y,z work fine, but I can't get any gcode (including Sainsmart's included examples) to execute beyond the first couple of lines of code, at which point it stops with an "alarm" indication on the offline controller. It's probably something very simple that I'm doing or not doing, but waiting this long to get an answer is frustrating.
By contrast, when I've contacted support for my Creator Pro 3D printer, I've always gotten a response the same day, frequently in a couple of hours, with a full answer, sometimes with explanatory photos."
