"I have purchased a couple machines from SainSmart. The first was had no issues and I didn't need to contact SainSmart for anything. The second one seems to have had a rough time in shipping. I have worked with SainSmart on the issues created by this and they have stepped up to make things right. There were some assembly issues; one of which I figured out before they got back to me and another where their solution was not acceptable. By then, I had devised a solution that turned out to work well.

"This has been a good CNC trainer for my Introduction to Manufacturing class. Shipping was fast and tracking was accurate. It was easy to assemble. Once assembled it was ready to go and I did a few test cuts. I have found the offline controller very handy as I don't have to have it hooked to a computer. It is a little noisy. So using the offline controller the CNC can be used in a different room.
I have preloaded the micro sd card with some simple designs. My students use the offline controller to zero out the machine and run the program. We will soon be learning to write some simple NC code and run them on this CNC. So far the students have enjoyed running it.
I feel like this has been a good value and will be a good learning tool. If something breaks it should be easy (and inexpensive) to fix. "
