"I wrote a review a couple of months ago, because I was very displeased about not receiving an order and SammyDress was not responding to me. As soon as I wrote that review, I got a response. When i first reviewed them, I thought they were a scam. Now, I think they are legitimate but they have many administrative and language barrier problems they need to resolve. Here is what happened with me - read it and decide what you think.
* When they first saw my review here, they promised to work with me better and get my order to me but asked if I would remove my negative review, stating they would be more likely to work with me if I removed it. I told them I would remove it when all situations were resolved and not before. Now that all situations are resolved, I am keeping that promise to update my review, but I'm not sure they'll be happy with what I have to say.
* After seeing my original review, they offered to return $30 of shipping on a $110 order and make sure I got my package. They did return the $30 but I never got my package.
* They told me i never got my package, because they sell more than they have in stock and if they get enough orders then they order more. I explained why this is a bad business practice.
* One representative found some of the items I ordered in sizes and colors other than what I ordered since they only had a few left and said she shipped them out. I never got them.
* A few days later, I saw them advertising an item I had ordered on Facebook. I clicked on it and saw they were still selling it in the color and size I ordered even though they were telling me they no longer had any and that had forced me to select colors and sizes I didn't really want - not that it mattered since I never got them any way. That item is still being sold by them in the color and size I originally ordered it in even though they admitted they don't have it in stock.
* When I reported I never got them, she promised me 500 S points. They initially gave me 50.
* When more time went by and I never received it, they resolved the S point problem and gave me the other 450 they had originally promised, but i never did get the package.
* When over a month had gone by and i never got the package, they told me to track it. I did. The LTN at the beginning of the tracking number is invalid according to the US post office.
* When I told them this, they told me the package had been returned to them and they would return the remaining $80 plus that had not been returned to me yet in 3 to 5 business days.
* When over a week passed and I had not received the refund, the told me the package was in Toronto and the number they had given me to show me they had returned the rest of my money was for the original $30 and they had not returned the remaining $80 plus yet. They asked me to wait one more week for them to track the package and return my money.
* I told them no that I would not wait one more week since they had already told me the package was returned to them. I was done. And, I told them that i had reported it to paypal. As soon as they knew I had opened an investigation with paypal, they closed all open tickets and returned my money immediately.
If after reading this you decide you would shop with them, make sure you get paypal and make sure you buy tracking - even though the tracking number is invalid it took away their room to argue and forced them to take responsibility.
If they admit that all I'm saying here is correct and just apologize instead of responding with excuses, I will order from them again to give them a second chance, but I will keep the order very small so that I don't lose a lot of money. I will order one item at a time until they win my trust again. If they come back denying this and making excuses, then I will never order from them again."
"UPDATE:Customer Service stated that it was still on the way and that a refund was being sent? CROSS your fingers and lets see what happens!
I have waited for ever for the rest of my shipment. I have asked for my money or my items and have been told they shipped, are going to ship, or they need my order number again and again ...this is rediculous. . Don't order "
"UPDATE : Their customer service has now listened after so much noise I made on every social media available to me. They say I'll get my money refunded in 3-7 business days. I'll update my review if this happens, and I'll be satisfied to some extent. Still I'd suggest, its a risk.
This is not a hate post but the experience of buying from this website:Cheaters! Dont buy from them, they wont send your items and keep the shipping cost also. SammyDress you guys are a BUNCH OF LIARS! and you cheat your customers. I had contacted your customer service regarding my missing items and they have returned my cost of items but KEPT THE DAMN SHIPPING COST WHICH IS MORE THAN PRODUCT COST! You guys need to be BANNED immediately and I'll make sure I spread this word everywhere. The quality of the items you show in pictures and manage to send is way different and below the accepted level. You sell poor stuff for high costs and think you guys will survive the business."
"My order was shipped incomplete. The second part of the order which I chose to wait for has not arrived. it was shipped over a month ago. There was no way to trace the order by the ticket number sent to me Sammy dress just says expired. and not valid I can not get through to anyone at Sammy dress not customer service, not on_line chat, or complaints and not by the phone number listed on the site. I now await a reply from them through pay pal dispute resolution.

"I ordered this on August 31, 2015. It was sent to my street address as I was asked for a street address. I actually have only a post office box. After waiting for a month, I found out it had been shipped back! I tried many times to request it to be sent back to me or all my money returned but I no longer get any more communications from them.
When I went in to review tickets, they all said they were expired. This should be an easy resolution, but for some reason, they make it very difficult. This was my first order from them and I was hoping it would be a reputable company, now after all this, I don't want to ever order from them again or refer them to anyone else.

"I have been utterly appalled at the service I got with SammyDress. I ordered 4 T-shirts from them. 3 arrived but were far too small for me and the fourth never even got delivered. I even used the guidance measurements they gave (fyi a small in the UK/US is like their 3XL) and they still didn't fit. I complained to their customer service and was told that there were 3 options - return with refund, return with exchange (return delivery costs at own expense) or keep the items (with 20% reimbursement on value of items). Despite already being displeased I went with the second option and replied promptly. I have followed up with their customer services twice and still not heard back after nearly 3 weeks now. So not only have they wasted my time, they have taken my money and run. I'm so livid with their service. Never again."
"I've had my first (but definitely not last!) experience with Sammydress. I purchased three shirts from them last month, and I love them. They all fit perfectly, better than I'd have thought, and they wash up well.
I realized shortly after ordering, that I'd ordered the wrong size. I contacted customer service right away, and Truda and I messaged back and forth several times. She made sure the order was corrected, and was extremely helpful. Couldn't have asked for better help!
I will definitely order again.

"I purchased a swimming suite from sammydress in September for my vacation that is at the end of October. I haven't received anything but when i informed the company that my purchase had not been received they were very generous to refund my payment. Although I was disappointed to not have received my purchase (since swim suites are no longer in season I can't find them in any store so ordering online was my best option) I was pleased with the quick response. I do suggest that when ordering from this company that you request for a tracking number. I hope that my swim suite eventually makes it to me since i received and email on Sept. 18 that the order had been shipped off. But nevertheless good luck to any future shoppers. "I have been trying now for a month to get a hold of ANYONE from Sammy Dress, I left multiple emails and was told It takes one business day to receive a ticket for someone to get back to you. I have heard from not one person, not even through email. The dress I ordered was not as described and smelled horrible when I got it. I immediately put it back in the bag it came in and it was never worn. The one number listed online is also NEVER available and always has a busy signal.
Be warned the clothes are cheap for a reason, the quality is extremely poor, the dress came in a ball in a small bag, and it smelled. Don't waste your time trying to save money on poor clothing, especially because once you receive it and are dissatisfied, no one is going to help you with your issue."
"I placed my order I week ago today and payed for expedited shipping. My order is still processing. I have put in a ticket email online to get some feedback on 10/7 in the morning and still no response, I send another message yesterday, still no response. It said 3-7 days shipping and it has not even been shipped yet. I called the customer service number and it is not even a working number. I needed this dress for a major event for my daughter by end of this week. This is not good customer service. My daughter is so upset. "

Both items I received exceeded my expectations in quality and style. I can without a doubt say that the two items I purchased are the new favorites in my wardrobe, and they were affordable. "I have made several attempts to contact this company and there is no response. The ***-***-**** number is bogus and there is no customer service rep. I have tried to live chat and there is no one on the other line. I'm going to contact the FBI scam reporting department for a full investigation. I suggest everyone who has been scammed by this bogus organization do the same. Get your bank involved. They will trace the person that created the website and they will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. "
