"Placed an order on Sammy Dress on 8/4/15. Three items ordered said they would ship out within 3 business days. The fourth item said it would ship out in 7-15 days. I paid for expedited shipping to ensure I received all items before 9/19.
The dress I ordered that said it would ship in 7-15 days shipped 8 days later on 8/12. I received the dress on 8/17. Quick shipping on that product. And I ordered a size larger than normal per the instructions. The dress fit perfectly. However the dress "Sexy Halter Sleeveless Ombre Design Maxi Dress For Women" SKU 138189404 is completely see thru. With the darker colors on top I never expected it to be as see thru as it is, even with the built in slip under the top layer there is no way you can wear this dress without wearing a garment underneath it. Also the zipper on the side does not work. In order to return the item they require pictures of the garment showing the flaws within the garment. We will see how the return process goes.
As for my other items that said they would ship out within 3 business days. I got an email on 8/13 stating the items have shipped. I have tracked the package every other day since that time and as of today 8/18 the package still says the label has been created for shipment but has not been received at the shipping location.
I put a review on the website for the dress I have received yesterday to let everyone know the dress is see thru so they could make a decision whether they want to purchase the dress or not with this knowledge. The review does not show on the website for this dress, apparently reviews that are not in favor of the garment are not allowed."

There are THREE things you guys need to know when shopping at Sammydress

!. BE SMART

Sammydress sells items that are not the exact same thing as the pictures. HOWEVER, they try to sell products that look as close to the photos as they can. That is why it is so inexpensive so don't be all angry when you receive a product that looks a little off when you paid like 5 or so dollars for it. Check customer photos before you buy. Those will guarantee what you will be getting. Also know that sometimes the fabric doesn't feel wearable. The sites priority is to achieve how the clothes look.

2. BE AWARE

of the obvious. Look close at and check the measurement charts. Do not buy the size you would usually buy if you're in the Americas or aren't built Asian. The sizes are different. Everyone should know this already. They have a conversion from inches to centimeters to help customers, All you need is some measuring tape to measure yourself.

3. BE PATIENT

Sammydress is in China. Do you really expect to receive the package in 3-4 days? It took 3 weeks for my package and I was starting to doubt the website. But then I got my package and I can say I'm very satisfied for the price I paid.

If you follow my advice, you should be less disappointed when your purchase comes around."

"This is a joke of a company. Clothes are cheaply made. So paper thin you can see through them. The sizes are a joke. Even an XL shirt would not fit a small boy! Their correspondence is ridiculous, asking for every possible thing, impeding any kind of rational resolution. Their reviews are fake, which is obvious when you google Sammy Dress. So many people have made the same comments. I guess the saying, it it's too good to be true, it probably is truly fits this company. And for all those know it all people who comment we should know better, take a look at those Nikes or just about every piece of clothing you own. Most are made in China or other countries where wages allow for large companies to buy in bulk and mark them up 300%. I would say you are the ones that should know better before making such stupid comments.
For everyone else, please avoid this company. Don't throw your money away!"
