"The last monitor that I purchased from a competitor company did not help me with purchasing parts. I called their support line and they gave me nothing. I have had Samsung products in the past, and I've always loved them, so this time I went with Samsung instead. Little did I know that it was more beneficial than I thought.

Samsung is doing something right when it comes to providing a place to allow their customers to purchase parts. I had a tab break on the rear plastic panel for my brand-new Odyssey G9 (purchased yesterday) and I was upset because my new perfect monitor was no longer completely perfect. Luckily, the part number for the plastic panel was on a sticker on the back of it. I looked it up, found that the part was available, and purchased the replacement (not an expensive part so just purchased it outright instead of going through the warranty process), along with a second DisplayPort cable to replace the faulty one that I had lying around (which was the reason for why I had to pop off the panel that broke)."
