"I purchased a batch of components to build a new PC base unit.The motherboard was an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, 14 months later the chipset fan began screaming (a common problem). Due to the 3 year ASUS warranty I contacted them but despite recieving a positive response and promise of them sending me a new fan after 2 months I had recieved nothing.I contacted Scan on the offchance they had better connections and could maybe source me a fan or tell me where to enquire.They did better than that as the first e mail I recieved was to say they would try to find me a fan, the second saying one was in the post. 4 days after my initial inquiry I had a new chipset fan and a once again quiet PC. Talk about customer support ? Scan is up there with the best."

"I ordered an EVGA Nvidia Geforce 7800GS CO from Scan, I then told a friend who had used them a few years back and he said "Don't do it!! Scan are rubbish, they will mess up the order and send the wrong card out", WOW, how WRONG was he!! When I placed the order I was given an estimated despatch date of 3rd May, delivery for the 4th (bearing in mind that the Saturday that I ordered was a bank holiday weekend and it said on the site that they would not be working the bank holiday Monday) So my order would be processed on Tuesday when they got back. On the 2nd May (Tuesday) I recieved e-mails detailing every step of the order process so I knew exactly what was happening. Then at at about 7pm I recieved a text message saying that the order had been despatched for next day delivery. 3rd May (Wednesday) my card arrived, a day early and in excellent condition and packaged very well. I placed the card in my machine and it worked straight away with no problems at all. Scan are a marvelous company, I mean how many companies do you know that deliver a day early!! I would reccomened them to anyone. Scan get 10/10 from me , I have used companies in the past online and I never know whether to trust them, atleast now I have found one that I can honestly say I will be using again and again."

"Ignore any negative reviews,this is a first class company. I bought an Ellion DVD/HDD recorder and from the beginning, to the end, this firm kept me well informed at each stage of the processing of the order, even to a text message to my mobile. After delivery i found this was not quite what i had ordered (my own fault really) so i contacted Scan fearing the worst, but to my relief they were quite happy for me to return the item for a complete refund. Full marks to Roxanne and Phil for handling the situation. Once again this an excellent, efficient company and with the amount of orders it must handle there are always bound to be a few hiccups, but i certainly would have no worries about using them again.
