"I could not be happier with my experience purchasing from Seattle Coffee Gear. I had been looking for a replacement carafe for an old Melior coffee press, and everything I could find was the wrong size--either too narrow, or too tall, too short or just overall too small or too large. In a last ditch effort to find what I needed before throwing away the perfectly good old coffee press, I did a search online and found an odd-sized carafe that I hadn't seen on other sites. Unfortunately they didn't list the dimensions for the carafe, so I called to ask. The young woman who answered the phone was unable to measure the carafe at that moment, because it was in a warehouse and it had to be retrieved, but she took my phone number and said she would call back when she had a minute. Within an hour she called me back and had exactly the information I was looking for, resulting in my order. I had hoped to have the carafe by the time some out-of-town visitors arrived, but really didn't expect it would be possible, given the new carafe was coming to me in Massachusetts from Washington state, but a few days later I received an email message stating it had been sent, and within a couple days of that it was delivered to my door, a full two days ahead of my guests. The best part of all is that it fits the old carafe--not perfectly, but well enough that I can use it again, and I don't have to spend ~$50 for a new one when the old one was really quite perfect save for the missing carafe."
"I bought this model since I read a great review about it from another company that sells the espresso pods. A friend of mine has had many espresso machines but the Francis Francis many times and hers seemed to last her about a year with daily use and entertaining. So, I felt like for my first foray into the beginner espresso machine, I didn't want to commit to the HUGE price tags out there especially when I am not to sure what I am doing. The price tag on this refurbished one was great and so far, Day three, easy to use, learn and well of course delicious espresso! It was packed well and I would recommend trying this company out! It makes sense on recycling such a HUGE piece of kitchen equipment. Everyone who has seen it, thinks I bought it brand new!"
"Still waiting for the espresso machine. Ordered machine 9 days ago for my husband's birthday and paid extra to have it shipped in 3-5 days. After a week I called to find out the status of shipment as I never received a tracking number. I was told it was a drop ship from the manufacturer and they would call and find out what happened. They did call at the end of the day and was told they couldn't reach the manufacturer, maybe because of the hurricane? I ordered the machine days before the hurricane reached that area,so it should have been shipped a week ago. I was hoping to get more information about the espresso machine or a tracking number today, but still waiting. Husband still asking if it came today?"
