"I was in the market for an air adjustable Split King bed. Called Selectabed and was connected to Gerald. He was very helpful and informative and seemed to give great advice. No hard sell. No up selling, just asked good questions and gave sound helpful advice.
I especially like the 30 yr. warranty. The bed will be delivered in about 3 weeks or so. I'm sure it will live up to it's reputation. I'll do a further review once I collect a few weeks sleep on it.

"I am in the market to buy a premium air bed to address my lower back issues and also replace my old traditional box spring mattress. I was leaning towards purchase of Sleep Number bed after visiting their store (P5, as I like firm mattress experience). I came back and did some research online for comparable options. Based on the research, I short listed Sleep Number, NightAir, Innomax, and Airpedic. Out of these four, Airpedic (traditional 600 model) came out to the winner. Excellent customer service (Gerald Misemer), warranty, quality of materials (no health hazards, all made in USA), durability, past owner satisfaction ratings, sleep quality, number of adjustable air chambers (6 on split king), return policy, and number of unique settings (89) made Airpedic the winner for me. Thank you Gerald for patiently answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. I am eagerly waiting for my mattress to arrive. I hope to have the same five star sleep experience, as I had with the customer service so far on my purchase."

"The past couple of days I have been scouring the internet reading about adjustable beds. I have several friends who mentioned Sleep Number was their favorite... Clearly they didn't do their homework! I started reading about Selectabed and was tickled that is was made here in the USA. The more I read, the more impressed I became. The Air-Pedic mattresses! For many years, I have suffered with severe sleep apnea, where I stop breathing 111x an hour. You know its not good when you go in after your sleep study and your doctor says "Oh, you're the one". On top of the apnea, I also suffer from non-REM narcolepsy. Kind of a cruel joke from above. I can literally sleep every minute of the day but never hit REM or delta sleep. Nothing like an insomniac narcoleptic!
So you can see why I am excited... I now have my narcolepsy under control and I'm hitting REM. This bed is my gift to myself."

He is very knowledgeable about their various products, answered my many questions in detail, and spent additional time describing the components and features of the Air-Pedic mattress. Gerald was always very polite and patient, and there was never any pressure to buy the mattress or any additional items. After our first phone conversation he followed up by email with a detailed summary of the information and pricing. Ordering and payment process was simple, and the mattress arrived several days sooner than expected. I had a couple of questions following delivery and set-up, and Gerald was again very helpful and informative. While it’s too soon to comment in detail about the sleep experience with the mattress, after it was delivered and set up I got on the bed just to try out different settings but fell asleep within minutes.
