"Had an almost identical experience as another poster, jrother, who posted Apr-19-2010; basically: placed online order; rec'd email next day indicating there was a problem w/my credit card; called sales rep immediately, resolved issue & was told my item would then ship that day; it still hadn't left the warehouse 2 days later. After complaining over the phone 2 various folx, Shay Hanaee took control of the situation [appropriate, since she's the co.'s Controller], & made sure my item shipped out that day as an overnight delivery AT CO.'S EXPENSE so it should arrive on the day the sales rep originally, though mistakenly, told me it would, which is tomorrow. According to FedEx tracking, it's currently in Indianapolis, so I will let you know if it makes it, but there better not be any 'signature req'd' nonsense for a $50 item. Anyway, judging from reviews and responses from Management, it looks like these folks try pretty hard, and spend quite a bit of time & effort making up for errors on the part of weak links. Hard to ask for much better than that when mistakes are bound to happen now & then. My rating's going to come in on the low side for the hassle, but if this thing gets here 2mrw, I'll be satisfied.
update, 9/16: it's in FedEx' L.A. warehouse, so SolidSignal did their part, so i boosted their ratings a bit; now it's up 2 FedX 2 close the deal! "
"Do not buy from Solid Signal if you are not 100% sure about the product's quality. Solid Signal will not pay for shipping on returns that don't work even if you paid for the initial shipping cost and offered to buy the replacement product from them. I even had the rep ask the owner. Terrible policy.
Update: I shipped (at my expense)the original purchase back to Solid Signal as directed to do by them; I attached a letter referencing their response to my review and requested that the original shipping cost be refunded too. Nope, no refund for shipping. So at this point I am out about $20. My opinion is unchanged and in fact reaffirmed."
"Poor poor poor customer service. Shipped a defective satellite assembly, made no effort to expedite a return, no effort to assist with setup (like instructions or technical support) - two technicians did not know anything about setup of the dish and asked me to hold for the next technician who did not know anything about the setup, and the third time I was re-routed I was disconnected. Calling back, I was transferred to a technician who was supposed to know about the unit, but not available so I left voice mail (10 days ago - still no response). I attempted to contact support via internet, did get reply, but no help whatsoever with either technical issues or return authorization. When I expressed my dissatisfaction at the businesses website, the customer service representative sent an email saying that she had tried to contact me and wanted to the rectify the situation, but could not reach me by telephone. I called back and left a message but never got a call back. I have caller ID and never had any record of a call when they were supposed to have called back, so I called her directly and left a message as well as email to make sure they had the correct number. No reply to email, no reply to phone message.
Turns out I have a defective unit. Contacted technical support for faulty signal meter, they could not expedite shipping of a new unit so that I could take it out of town for a trip that was planned. I had to order, pay for expedited in house processing, expedited shipping (adding over 20 per cent to the cost of the original purchase) with a request to please hurry the replacement order. But it did not arrive in time for me to take on trip as planned. I have given them multiple opportunities to just call and help me with any aspect of this purchase, let alone any offer to pay for expedited replacement or even just getting the order out right away so I would have it. Had I received a call back or any helpful support, I would never have written a complaint but this is amazingly disrespectful customer service. Buyer beware."

I ordered an antenna from Solid Signal. I received the antenna in a box that was in good condition. Inspection of the components found a broken F connector housing on the element.
I contacted customer service and explained that I would be leaving on a 700 mile trip to a client for installation of this antenna. Customer service sent me a new antenna without question and overnight.
