"December of 2010, I purchased a Winegard AP8700 pre-amplifier to boost the antenna signal through the 150 ft of coax cable in my house. After installing the amp within one foot of the antenna, the signal at the television was slightly worse than before I had began. Checked the wiring, check the power supply, checked for voltage at the amp. Everything checked out. I concluded the amp was defective. Wrote Solid Signal an e-mail explaining why I believe the amp to be defective. The next day a woman named Carol called me to say she was shipping a new unit to me that day. "I had seen some online postings from a disguntled customer about the customer service aspect of this company. Since ordering a device from them, which was delivered very promptly, I have had occassion to contact Solid Signal twice; once for technical support, and once to request info on returning a portion of the order. Each time I received a response almost immediately, despite the fact it was the Christmas/New Years holiday time. I received an RMA number with no questions asked and was told I would be refunded. I will be packing up the item tonight and shipping it back, but anticipate that the return will go smoothly. I am extremely impressed with the customer service provided by this company and would recommend them to all.

"I was very impressed with the Customer Service professionalism and knowledge. I wanted to cancel an earlier order which did not yet show shipped, and replace it with an upgraded product that would also qualify for a rebate. Audrey took it upon herself to contact the 3rd party shipper to intercept the shipment. Unfortunately it had shipped a few hours before. She was a great assistance in helping me select and order the new product along with precise instructions re return of first order as well as emailing my rebate form for the second order. "I was extremely pleased with my recent order experience with Solid Signal. I had to contact customer service to make a slight change to my order after I placed it. Audrey at Solid Signal responded to my request very quickly and the outcome was a notch above what I was expecting.
I must say that my issue was clearly understood and I didn't get the typical generic cut and paste responses like you get from the big boys.
I opted to order from a smaller firm after a recent glitch in an order from Amazon. While Amazon resolved my issue it was not in a real timely manner and I could tell I was just a number.
