"It took three days for the product to ship and no communication from Solid Signal. On the 9th I wrote a general note to customer service. No response from that so I called customer service on Tuesday. Stephanie Teamer took my call, apologized and found the order had been shipped on the 7th (was it a secret?) but no computer update or tracking. She got me the tracking number which showed that USPS had yet to receive the package. I wrote back to Stephanie about that and she contacted me this AM with a tracking update showing that it should arrive today. Guys, too many Internet sales companies ship in 24 hours and send you a notice when it ships. Not to notify customers of delays is unacceptable. Having a customer wait over a week for a simple shipment to arrive (particularly after having charged me $10 for freight for what is essentially a USPS first class package (Under $4) is insulting. Stephanie saved your ****. She did what your systems should have been doing. Well done Steph.................now get your IT department to fix your on line services!"

"I placed an order with Solid Signal for DIRECTV's Digital Reverse Band 3 UltraHD 4K LNB (3D2RBLNB) dish. This was my first order with Solid Signal. When I received my order I discovered that few items needed correction. I contacted Solid Signal via email requesting assistance. Thomas Mattison contacted me via email and phone and indicated replacement parts will be mailed to correct the issues with my order. The customer service I received was excellent. I will order from Solid Signal in the future because of the customer service I received. "
"I had purchased a rather large amount of equipment from them in the past without a problem, smooth online transaction and fast shipping. I needed a antenna for my mother in law so naturally I went with them, a week went by and the order status said "in process", I talk to a representative and was informed the product was on back order, the website did not indicate this when I placed the order nor did I receive any communication about such. If they had given me options before a week had passed I would have had no problem getting something they had in stock. Even when I contacted them they offered inferior replacements. Very disappointed in this company in this day and age stuff like this will cost you customers, I will not be giving them another chance even if they are the lowest price."
"I have dealt with Thomas for the past couple of months on various DTV equipment. During this time I have asked several technical questions & I had an equipment failure.
Each time that I contacted him, I either received an e-mail or a phone call usually within 20 minutes. All issues were addressed & solved.

"As an electronics enthusiast for years I've also been a Solid Signal customer for years because their staff is both knowledgeable and helpful about the products that they offer for sale. Having just been helped by their customer service rep Matthew regarding a recent order I was reminded of the time when such service was available in both large and small towns across America from local electronics stores that catered to both do-it-yourselfers and pros alike during the last four decades of the 20th century. Thank goodness nowadays the internet allows electronics hobbyists to search for and find a level of service that we apparently took for granted until it started disappearing. The only things lacking are the free coffee and conversations with fellow hobbyists while shopping (hanging around) the electronics stores of yesterday. The typical tobacco smoke smell is also lacking but I have no problem with that."
"I wish I could give them NO stars! I ordered an antenna from them and when it arrived part of the antenna was damaged. I called them right away and was told I would have to ship the entire antenna back to them and then reorder. I was told they would initiate a return label from Fed Ex. via email. This was a Thursday and it was the next Tuesday before I finally got a return label BY EMAIL. I shipped the antenna with Fed Ex the next day and they got the package 6 days later. It took them another 10 days before I finally saw my refund on my account. From start to finish, 22 days to get a refund. That is ridiculous and I have never seen so much run around from one company. Unbelievable! I will never purchase another thing from them. I cannot imagine what they would do if you have something fail under warranty!!"
"Matthew Abraham, a customer service representative from Solid Service saved the day and saved me time and money.
After an unsuccessful delivery attempt by FedEx and FedEx being completely unconcerned and very unhelpful. Matthew took it upon himself to call FedEx back and speak with a different agent. Not only was this agent friendly she was helpful. The end result is Matthew went above and beyond and saved me 160 mile round trip but the time and aggravation involved.
I am extremely grateful.

"Abysmal experience. Made a purchase evening of 12/22. On 12/29, it still had not shipped, so I emailed in and Thomas replied, expecting a further update the following day. None was received, so I called on 12/31, and was told the warehouse staff had all gone home, and to expect a phone call Monday (1/4). That phone call never occurred. I called on the evening of 1/4 and was told by Thomas, again, that there was no information, and to expect a call 1/5. He stated he suspected the product was on backorder, and I requested the order be cancelled if it could not be shipped by the next day. After lunch 1/5 (having received no call), I checked order status online and it was cancelled. I understand there were two holidays during this experience, but there was still several business days for my purchase to ship. Additionally, at no point did the website or my order status indicate the product was on backorder. How long was I supposed to wait?? Will never do business here again."
