"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever had! I ordered two stereo units seventeen days ago and have never gotten even a confirmation of the order (payment cleared 15 days ago). I have sent FOUR separate service requests starting eight days ago and still do not have any response. When I attempt to call, I am either ninth in line or expected to wait 18 minutes. This aggravation is certainly not worth the small savings in price.
UPDATE 3/7/12 - Talked to Larsen last night and they are trying to resolve the issues. I will post an update in a few days.

"Experienced the same thing as most folks. Excessive hold times, and a phone system that will hangup on you if you call during sane hours. SE's logic that, "we're a big company" so we can have extreme hold times is ridiculous. I can get a representative when I call Newegg or Comcast(read: big company) in LESS than 30 minutes and NewEgg can SHIP an item THE SAME DAY with updates every step of the way.
I called first(hold time for this was 10 minutes) to find out if my item was in stock; I know how these companies roll("oh, sorry, it's backordered indefinitely"). It was in stock, so I placed the order and was told it would ship the next day. It's now the 14th and not a word. I even sent an email asking the status; it went to /dev/null. After being on hold for 30 minutes this morning, I was told once again should ship soon. I politelty let the representative know that if the item doesn't ship today I will cancel my order.
First impressions are everything. I will not order from SE again."

Currenty on the phone, been waiting for 29minutes (with currently no calls ahead of me since I called) sending an email at the same time but I have a feeling im gunna be in for a rough ride.

"I placed an order on Saturday and it was listed as processing all the way through Thursday. Trying to call them Thursday night was painful. Trying to go through their phone system to the support for orders already placed just told me that they had exceeded their call volume and then would disconnect me. I then went to the new sales line and was on hold for 32 minutes before someone answered. I was told that the items had just shipped and i couldnt cancel my order even though i had sent an email 6:00AM that morning to cancel the order. The sales rep told me the items were on back order and apologized that i was not informed of this earlier. I informed them that it was now going to be too late to receive the items and that i would have to purchase them at a local store the next day. I asked that the restocking fee be waived in good faith because the order took almost a week to ship out. I'm still waiting to hear back from a supervisor on whether or not they will waive the restocking fee.
UPDATE: contacted by their support and they were very helpful and resolved the matter to my complete satisfaction. "

"Purchased an item via telephone. 4 days later, I check to see my order's status and it just says "processing". I call to ask what's going on and, after waiting for a live operator for 22 minutes, I'm told that my item was out of stock when I placed my order. But more came in on that same day's delivery truck, "but probably just haven't been scanned in yet. It will ship out tonight." Are you kidding me? You have orders for a product sitting on your loading docks untouched for 4 days??? I'm not happy, but I accept this and move on. 2 days later, my order still says "processing". I call back and, after waiting for an operator for 26 minutes, I'm told "They should be here, but we can't find them." You have got to be kidding me. What kind of business are you running here?!? I just told them to cancel my order. After I hung up, I ordered my item for the same price from a large competitor of theirs (believe it was Friday March 2nd). My item just arrived (Monday March 5th). Sorry Sonicelectronicx, but you dropped the ball on this one.
UPDATE: I have since been contacted by a representative from Sonicelectronix. He was extremely polite and apologized profusely for the issues. He exhibited an extremely professional manor and assured me that this was not a typical transaction for them. Accepting the fact they were at fault and making the effort to call me up and apologize really means a lot to me. They have earned several extra stars from me and I will give them another shot at my business in the future."
"SonicEloectornix has "Caveat emptor" policy, so even items with factory defects, the buyer has to shoulder cost of returning the same and charges you re-stocking fee. I have one item that is defective and the cost is only $4.99 but I have to pay $5.41 shipping in order to return it.
Calling them on the phone is a waste of time - tried 2x and after 20 minutes of waiting, I had to hung up. SonicElectronix is not prompt in their email - it takes 3 to 4 days before you get a response.
UPDATE: Once I hit "Finish & Share It", I got a call from Larson of SonicElectronix - made good amends. Great job Larson! I love this e-networking!! "
