I do this because I myself have worked in the retail industry at the management level;
and it is apparent that Sonic Electronics takes responsibility for any short comings on their end,
taking it in stride, by putting the customer first, not by giving away the store, but instead by
listening to the issues; then weighing in and providing the results customers in this market want.
It is too common place for customers to get burned by retailers when trying to shop below retail cost.
This is not the case with SonicElectronix, they truly want repeat business from their shoppers.
With me they have that, a repeat customer who sings there praises to all around me.

"I am highly disapppointed with my experience at SonicElectronix and won't be shopping with the company again. I purchased a replacement keyless entry remote fob for my car alarm. It did not come with programming instructions so I was not able to make it work with my alarm (despite it being the correct model number & brand). I called SonicElectronix to ask for the programming instructions. They were unable to provide them, and wanted to charge me more than half the price of the product to return it! So now I'm stuck with a remote that I cannot use, and am unwilling to send it back because of the exorbidant restocking fee & shipping/handling charges (which is NOT mentioned anywhere on their website)!!
If I send back the product they will make 3x the purchase price (as they'll be able to sell it to someone else).
Talk about "you get what you pay for!" A very hard lesson to learn! Will be making this same purchase from another company that has assured me programming instructions will be included (and that if I have any problems with the product, and I can return it for FREE!! No restocking. No shipping/handling! This is what I should have done in the first place!!!!"

"on 12/1 I called in to verify that the item wanted was in stock being that this order was/is time sensitive. I spoke with a very polite rep who advised that the unit was IN stock and would ship the very same day from their KY office. I didnt rcv tracking or updates for days. So, 12/5 I called in and spoke w a rep who said that there was no note of me calling in and speaking with a rep nor placing my order over the ph...??? How can this be? He said that my accessories were on back order. But why was I not told this. However, he said he would ship everything that very same day, bc coincidentally my accessories arrived THAT day. I waited for tracking, nothing. The next day, later in the evening I rcvd a tracking num. Ill update as soon as I rcv.
So I rcvd the item today and I am very pleased with the quality of the product and the way the unit was shipped :)

They have kept in touch making sure I was aware that they were aware of my order. They have even offered to find me an upgrade or comparable item at the same cost (or refund) if I change my mind on waiting. They also make it easy to talk to them over the phone - no hiding behind email, but of course they are very responsive that way too. They obviously want to treat they customers right - They have me wanting to find something else to buy just because dealing with them is such a good experience. How smart are they?!"
