Let's not forget a very cool blue display colour. It looks deceptavely complicated on first look. But after you give yourself a little time to digest the instructions you will discover the controls are very well positioned and quite user friendly. For $90.00 or so it's a steal."

All companies have rules and with most companies the rule is the rule is the rule, end of story. Sonic is different in that they will listen to your questions and if the rule doesn't make sense they will do something about it. This is a very rare attitude and one most companies ignore. Never,ever again. After reading the reviews on here, I expected great service. All my past experience with other electronic online retailers have been very positive, but after finding I could save myself about $30, I thought I'd give Sonic a shot. Bad idea. I purchased a JVC A/V unit, harness, kit, and antenna adapter from Sonic on January 4th, 2012. The website directed me to order a harness that did not retain the warning chimes. I ordered the equipment, and my buddy helped me install last weekend. Bear in mind, after I placed my order, as I had no experience with SonicElectronix, and am not as versed in car electronics as my buddy, I called them and confirmed that, in fact, everything was in order and that I had what I needed. I wanted to know this before it was shipped out. After the installation we realized the chimes weren't working. I called Monday, and after a period of time with customer service, they told me I needed a different harness. The customer service agent said I did a good service as they were going to update their website to reflect the correct harness so this problem wouldn't be encountered again. They have since fixed the website to reflect the correct harness. A customer service agent I spoke tried to sell me the correct harness for a measly $2 off the cost charged on the website, and to pay for the return shipping on the incorrect harness. I only realized this after I went online to see how much it would have cost me with the new stereo if the website had steered me to the correct harness to begin with. I called Tuesday, left a message stating that IMO that was unacceptable, and he called Tuesday and I missed him. I called Wednesday first thing and haven't heard back from him the rest of this week (it's now Friday night). I placed a call this evening, and spoke to somebody else who did little to help. So a half a day wasted installing, 35 minutes on hold with the customer svc agent on Monday only to try and discount the item $2, and no return calls this week from the service agent is worth about 4 bucks. Unacceptable, unbelievable. And after saying I wanted to return everything and order elsewhere, they want to charge me 10% restocking fee. I'm glad your future customers won't receive the incorrect harness, but you also shouldn't treat me as a guinea pig. Sonicelectronix sent me the wrong one, wasted half my Saturday, and haven't returned my calls. As angry as I am about the incorrect harness, the two things that really anger me and reflect the poor customer service, are going three days without a phone call from my assigned customer service guy, and the fact that I did call after I placed the order as I wanted to make sure I had what I needed and was told everything was in order. Do yourselves a favor, order elsewhere as you just can't be certain they are going to direct you to order the correct merchandise and won't assist you if they do have you order the wrong product. "

"I had some problems with the customer service, but they completely redeemed themselves. There was an issue with me not receiving my order because I wasn't able to sign for the UPS delivery. It was sent back to Sonic Electronix, and when I called, they said they were going to have to charge me the shipping fee that they got from UPS. Their customer service was willing to work with me, and left me completely satisfied. This site is much cheaper than Crutchfield, and I would recommend it."
"Friendly service, very competent sales associates to make sure you get the correct merchandise when you place your order. There shipping department gets it out the door and to you fast and does a superb job with packing your item so there’s no damage during shipment. They also E-mail you documentation to keep track on the status of your order every step of the way. SonicElectronix has there act together, other online audio electronic company’s should follow there standards. When ever I need audio electronics you bet I will be back.
