Sadly, it arrived DOA and due to some holiday travelling, I wasn't able to deal with it until after the new year. I called Polaroid who told me to call Staples and have them deal with it. I called Staples on 1/12/2007 and they offered to do an exchange. They came to my door in about a day or two with the new camera in hand and picked up the broken one.

My most recent experience merely reaffirmed this impression - I used the online chat to be refunded a shipping fee from Black Friday (since I'm a rewards member), and even though I was past the 2 weeks limit for editing orders, I was still given a credit for the shipping fee.

I've ordered several times from Staples in the past and always liked their service and never had a bad experience until just recently. My last shipment arrived from the product manufacturer (not Staples) in a damaged condition caused by the shipping company. I promptly phoned Staples, as is their claim process noted on their web site, and received fast friendly service from their support personnel. They explained the return policy and later called again with a follow up confirmation of the refund process. The prepaid return postage shipping label was promptly mailed to me and a replacement product was also quickly delivered (this time undamaged). All this was efficiently and effectively taken care of as if I was their only customer. I loved how Staples improved the instant rebate process, but this customer service experience was so good that I felt the need to give them a positive review."
