"This company is absolutely terrible. I ordered my book on May 10th. I got a confirmaton email immediately. A few days later it the site said it had not yt processed. I sent the company an email and was told that I was still within my delivery timeframe and not to worry. Over a week later, it showed as processed but not yet shipped. As of yesterday it was still not shipped. I sent an email inquiring why this was. No response. When I check the status today, it has been cancelled. No email telling me that, nothing. This company is terrible. DO NOT BUY FROM SUPERBOOKDEALS.COM"
"I ordered a book from SuperBookDeals.com on May 1st and after 10 days or more I checked the status because it hadn't arrived in the mail. It didn't show that it had shipped so I sent them an email and never got a reply. It's now May 15th and it still doesn't show that it shipped, so I found their number, called and the person answered, "Hello" I had to ask if I had reached SuperBookDeals.com. Maybe she was embarrassed to be working for this company, anyway she said that the book shipped on May 3rd and it's now May 15th... I find it hard to believe and I won't be ordering from this company in the future.
You can get a good deal from this company if you don't need the book for a couple months. "
"This is a horribly bad store!! They have absolutely no option for expedited shipping!! Can you believe that they *will* send all your orders by media mail even if that could take upto 3 weeks to reach? I ordered a book which was showing 'in stock' on Feb 5th. They sent a nice confirmation email and all. After waiting 10 days I checked my order status to find out that the shipment was still pending. The did not send any email or any sort of correspondence in between. I canceled my order. Avoid these guys by all means!!!!!!"
"Terrible Reseller. Same company on ebay or half.com as "thebookpros". Bought item from half.com. Item listed as "mint condition. Never been read" and in stock. Placed order. Received order confirmation email which included link to check status of order. Order promised to be shipped in 2 business days. After 4 days order was not shipped. As no phone number could be found I emailed tech support. Got a canned answer with a link to check status. Sent a total of 4 more email s with no response. Finally found number and called tech support. Person was friendly however said that item was damaged and they were reordering from publisher. I inquired as to why their advertisement stated "mint" condition and more importantly why they didn't contact me with the delay. Their only response was, "sorry". Personally I don't believe they ever had the item in stock and was avoiding my emails. I canceled the order. We'll see how that turns out. I find it very hard to believe that they have a 95%+ rating on ebay but yet a horrible rating here. The prices are great but unless you want to roll the dice and have a problem or not, then I would avoid this reseller. When will people learn that when you avoid communication then you upset your customers. By the way their customer service number is ***-***-****"
"Ordered a single book a month before i would leave for school again. After a confirmation e-mail, heard nothing. CHecked the status after a week and the book was still not shipped out. After two weeks, i checked and it had been back-ordered. NO EMAIL to tell me such. in the meantime, i went and bought it from barnes & noble and 'cancelled' my order via email. Not only did they ignore my cancellation request but they insisted on sending it to me. oh but wait, that was 5 days ago, and you know what, according to the status, its STILL not shipped out.

The BIOS guide book was dropshipped and arrived a bit later (separately).

Both books arrived in good shape.
I was a bit worried because AFTER placing my online order, I then came across this bookstore's ratings page and saw the low rating.
However, maybe I'm fortunate, and/or maybe they've changed; but all in all, I feel they did a good job.
In my case, I made sure that these were books I wanted to KEEP. (If they were books I might not have wanted to keep, I would have bought them thru wal-mart.com, paid a bit more, but could have taken them back to a local wally-world store without problem).
As a source for inexpensive books, that arrived in a timely fashion, and in good condition, I am HAPPY with this order from SUPERBOOKDEALS."
"I did not read their ratings before purchasing. Today, thankfully, I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a well packaged, brand new book in the mail. Excepting the lack of any communications past purchase or an email indicating shipped status, the transaction was perfect. I might be very lucky, given the other reviews. But my experience was very good.

Since my review I have gone on to order again from them. My room mate and two other friends have ordered from them as well. The average shipping time was about 10 days, which is on the longer side. But in every case, they had the lowest prices on the book in question, and they sent a brand new copy.
They dont tell you when the item ships, wish they did, but in the last 5 orders I have seen with them, they make it to you in 10 days or so."

"Placed an order for a book for class in early july I needed it in two weeks. Online superbookdeals website said item was in stock and the shipping information stated it would arrive within 14 days. A week had passed and I still didn't get a tracking number. I logged into my order and it showed the book was not in stock and was on order!!!!
I emailed the CSR to request my order be canceled since the book would be arriving to late for me to use it. No response from them so I emailed again to confirm the order had been canceled. Two days later I still didn't hear from them and I checked my credit card bill. Sure enough they charged my credit card and didn't cancel. I finally found their number called them and the CSR on the phone was friendly and said they "dropped the ball". I disputed the charge with my credit card company and got my money back. Seems like the shop is small with few workers. Not worth the aggravation."

"Order 3 books on 8/30/05 and called on 9/6 to check on status of order. CSR said one of the book is being shipped that day and the other 2 is still being processed. Asked her why and she said it takes up to 5 business days to process an order. With shipping it will take almost a month to receive the order. Told her to cancel the other two orders. Called the next day to confirm if the book is shipped. CSR said it's not. Told her the CSR yesterday said it was being shipped that evening. She told me that I was misinformed and she will have my order urgently shipped that day. Called again today to check on status. CSR said it's being shipped today. Nearly cursed at her. Told her that the CSR on 9/6 and 9/7 said it was being shipped those day. She apologized that those people misinformed me, again. Asked her can she guarantee me that my order will be today. "I placed my order for a book on August 30, 2005. I received an email for my order confirmation immediately. I anticipated a day or two for processing and 5-6 days for shipping. Within the confirmation email they send you a link so you can "track" your order. It's a joke! The only information it tells you is if it's processed or not. Of course, my order had been processed. Nine days after I placed my order, I emailed them asking for any additional details of my order. They replied back stating there was "an error in our inventory process, the item is currently out of stock". Funny how they didn't email me about this "error". Pathetic. I cancelled my order and will never order from again."
