"I purchase items both for my small consulting company, and for home use. I appreciate the high quality merchandise at low prices. My company doesn't need to be on the cutting edge of technology - I prefer slightly older, established technologies that are easier to maintain and use, and I love Surplus Computers big selection and the low price of their remaindered or reconditioned merchandise. Their order department has always handled my order efficiently, emailing or calling me very quickly with any questions, and sending my order out usually with a 24-hour turnaround. I like their email "flyers" (although I still get sent 4 or 5 copies - they need to take my old "semurray@trialbehavior" address off their list and check for duplicates.) I have always been happy with the merchandise I have purchased, with the exception of two off-brand wireless cards that conflicted with one computer's video card and I have never been able to get to work properly. The staff is knowlegeable and enthusiastic."

The only thing that would have made this process better would be more feedback concerning shipping. I placed my order online on the weekend, and outside of a single email detailing my order, I had no confirmation that my order had actually been recieved. It would have been nice to recieve an email letting me know the product had shipped, as well as a tracking number.

"So far I have placed three orders May 12, 17 and 25 2004. The vender has charged my credit cards even before the order was shipped. The communication from vender's end is almost absent. Order of May 17th seems have been despatched now after many phone calls which half the time is answered by the machine and inspite of leaving messages. Company needs to work on its customer service which is 0 on a scale of 10. "

They have called me with a answer if they couldn't give me one right away.I something has to be returned there is no problem. They worked with me when i needed a replacement part and have received the Item in a matter of days .If a Item is defective they work there best to correct it I swear by Surplus Computers
