"I purchased 2 MP3 players. One was dead when first used and one died one month later. I requested an RMS for the first and shipped it off. A month after they recieved it, they hadn't shipped me a new one. I made several requests for the status but didn't hear back from them for about a week. Finally, a week later, the replacement arrived after being shipped out a day or two previously. It was DOA. By this time the warranty's expired, so I'm stuck with a dead one. I'm still waiting for the 2nd one, which was recieved by them shortly before the warranty lapsed."

"I have sent an email asking for an order status every day for the last week. I have called daily, only to be connected with the voice mail of the shipping department. I have not gotten a response to any inquiries. One of my orders went through fine, the other appears to have dropped into a black hole, along with the entire customer service department. If you buy from this compay, hope that your order goes well. If you need to conatct someone, you will not talk to a person and will get no response to email or voicemails. Next tiem I will spend a little more on the product to know that I am getting customer service with it."

"I have ordered several things from this company with good results but if you have to send anything back that's when the trouble starts.Terrible communications.I have had to RMA an item and recieved another defective one.If I send the item back again I will have paid more shipping than the item cost to start with.Bottom line,poor customer support,forget about email response,and you will never talk to a real person.In my opinion customer support is everything and this company just doesn't bother with it.If they don't care about me then I don't care to order from them again.

I have emailed Surplus Computors every other day since I have posted here with no response.Do you want to do business with this kind of company?
It is now Feb 27th.No email of any kind from this company.The junk item is in the garbage and I will forget about the money I have lost with this company.I hope you are smarter than me.Do not be fooled by the cheap prices.This the worst company I have ever had to deal with in over ten years of online ordering.Ebay is safer!!!

"I've made two purchases from them over the past few months. The first went well, the product was good and the shipping was slow but not unreasonable.

The second order was a different story. The item arrived defective. I called and left numerous messages for them but never received a call back. I ended up contesting the charge with Amex and I got my money back from Amex.

Delivery has been quick, the products have been as advertised (new, in good condition), and the price is always very low. "I ordered Late on Christmas Day since Flash Memory for a camera that was being used had failed and lost all photos. It arrived in 1 week via us mail and works excellently. Considering all the mail in transit at christmas time and that this wasn't a priority I was suprised how quickly it arrived. And it was the best price on the internet by far. "Purchased a Microsoft trackball and flashlight (both listed as new) on evening of 16 Jan. Received confirmation email shortly after ordering. On 20 Jan, received email that it had shipped previous day. Arrived 21 Jan via USPS Priority Mail.

Flashlight was received in sealed blister pack.

Trackball was in plastic bag with documentation, CD, and USB-PS2 adapter (no fancy box, etc.) Cord appeared that it MIGHT have been unwrapped at some point, but saw no signs of use on the mouse itself, and it works fine.

"Ordered Microsoft Wireless Optical USB Tilt Wheel Mouse - Mood Ring on 1/7/2006 and received it 10 days later. The manual states that two alkaline batteries are included but not. The lowest price I could find is $37, they sold it for $16 (free shipping). I certainly can buy lot of batteries for the price difference."

"Ordered Friday PM, got immediate acknowlegement via email. Order shipped following day, per email from vendor. Order arrived via USPS in Michigan the following Wednesday noon.

Product was a 17-LED flashlight. It arrived adequately packaged and factory-new in a sealed blister pack. It is at least equal to MagLite in quality. It's extremely bright.

Nice product, nice performance by Surplus Computers. I'd order from them again.
