Great Customer Service

"Buying musical gear online, the products are pretty much the same and the prices are close, so customer service is what makes the difference. I've bought from Sweetwater for several years because their customer service is real, not just someone sending form letters saying they "understand your frustration". Their prices are excellent, as well, so I'll keep going back to them when I need to upgrade my kit."

Weeks later and still waiting.

"Bought nine effects pedals and all are on backorder. Was told that one was shipped, but it never arrived at my door. No idea when the company will have my order ready to ship. I was encouraged at every step to place my order as quickly as possible. Now all I can do is wait. Not to mention that payment has already been made. I could have gotten these products quickly from other companies. I can't even change my order to something that is in stock. I won't be ordering from Sweetwater again. "

Very Customer oriented

"I received a guitar part with a slight defect. When I called my Sales Rep to report it, I received 4 or 5 calls and emails that same day from various Sweetwater contacts to help rectify the problem. In 2 days I had a replacement which was in perfect condition. This is why I do business with Sweetwater. I know there are bigger companies who have larger inventories however none of them have that personal service and care about the customer as much as Sweetwater. I enjoy doing business with them."

Personalized touch, not just another mover of hardware

"Sweetwater has access to the same goods as everyone else. They sell that at roughly the same price as everyone else and offer the same free shipping etc. But, how they differentiate is on their personalized service.

When you buy from Sweetwater you get assigned a Sales Engineer and that person is now your point of contact for Sweetwater. Whether it's a technical question or trouble with your order or any other reason to contact Sweetwater, your knowledgeable and friendly sales engineer is available.

Like others, Sweetwater also has a very good website with good blog posts and knowledge articles. They also have a great YouTube channel which al helps with the education part of your buying experience.

Like others they offer free shipping.

But unlike others, they offer a two year warranty (fulfilled by Sweetwater) on any item that does not carry a manufacturers warranty over 2 years.

So in short, they do everything everyone else does, and then they have a dedicated Sales Engineer and a two year warranty. They really do care about each and every customer personally.

Best in the Industry

"I have been dealing with Sweetwater for about a year and made enough purchases through them to convince me to shop nowhere else. My first experience was impressive, to say the least. My Sales Engineer is Aaron. If Aaron is any indication of the rest of the crew, just, WOW ! ! ! I had an issue with a tube amp I purchased And not only had a resolution but was up and playing in a couple of days.

My most recent purchase put the icing on the cake for me. There was an incident that I can not give details for, but I can say this, it was a total nightmare for Sweetwater and myself. In the end, they stepped up to make everything right. Working with everyone I did during both purchases, have totally convinced me there is no better company to purchase music gear from.

I have bought a lot of gear from other well-known name stores, and none of them can hold a candle to Sweetwater and their crew. Their process to ship a guitar is the best I have seen in the industry. Their shipping is fast and convenient. The payment options are the best. You can not go wrong with trying them out. If you do you will get hooked as well.

Great customer service

"I bought the Vista deer guitar. I also purchased some picks and a strap. Ben was nice enough to call me and let me know the strap was on backorder and it was holding up my order. He asked if I wanted him to send me pictures of other straps that were in stock. I thought that was so nice of him and really great costumer service. I was very impressed from the beginning first placing the order to receiving the order. Everything was very high quality. I will definitely recommend sweet water to all my music friends and family. "

terrific service

"This was my second or third order from Sweetwater and all of them were very good transactions. This time I ordered the Yamaha p515. This was not in stock but shipping date was made available so I decided to buy. was given expected shipping date. All went well and was notified when shipped as promised and helped with tracking info. It arrived in good order quickly. I was glad I waited. reminded me of the president " promises made, promises kept". It is obvious from the smallest order to the highest, every order is given great care!"
