Buying my Fifth Guitar from Sweetwater

"After hearing about Sweetwater from a number of guitar playing friends, I thought I would give it a try and ordered my Gibson ES-335. My salesperson Ian was extraordinarily helpful and patient. Long story short, due to my initial Sweetwater experiences, I have purchased a total of five guitars, my latest being a 1962 Fender Jazzmaster Classic reissue. Every experience with Ian and Sweetwater was a pleasure. On a number of these occasions he had to exercise extreme patience as he explored numerous options with me. If there was any piece of information that Ian didn’t have on hand, he immediately did his research and got back to me with the answer.
Sweetwater stands by its guarantee. My 335 needed an adjustment on the nut almost two years after my purchase. Ian put me in touch with an extremely knowledgeable mechanic who immediately made arrangements for the return and repair of my guitar. My guitar was returned to me in two weeks in peak condition.
Although their are large local dealerships close to my home on Long Island, I will only do my guitar and amplifier purchases through Sweetwater. Excellent sales experience and great guarantees. That’s what it is all about.

"My online experience was one of the best I've ever had. Even my wife was impressed, and she is a frequent online purchaser.

Our customer rep Kevin Sammuel was polite, informed, and followed up from beginning to end, that included a personal phone call as well as emails.

I highly recommend Sweetwater and for myself, still drumming at 73, will be my go-to place for my percussion needs.

is simply the best musical gear retailer.
as a direct result, i have been a very loyal customer.

why?

many reasons:
they have the best customer service-hands down.
stores like guitar center completely **** and
in fact they're probably going bankrupt because of it;
for many reasons like:
the "i only work here" attitude.

[never] the case at Sweetwater.
there's always someone who's knowledgeable. if 1 person doesn't know an answer, you're quickly referred to another rep who does specialize in whatever piece of gear/dept. to fulfill your individual need. everyone's extremely polite, patient and honest. they re not used car salesmen. they're pretty much all musicians or sound techs or people like me who've worked in the music industry as well.

Sweetwater stands behind what they sell.
if you ever have an issue with anything [say it's electronic or something]
their tech support is bar-none.
if somethings ever wrong, they make it right.
if ever anythings defective in the slightest,
they promptly email you an rma label.
other chains don't do that -seriously.

when shipping... it's lightening-fast.
often same day
[especially when you're a long-time customer]

that's 1 thing about them....
they value loyalty ...and reward you for it.

I'm speaking from many years of experience as a Sweetwater sound customer.
