"We'd never bought anything from TCWO before, so our first order was a "test"--components to build a new system for me. That went so well that we then ordered for a new system for my husband, and everything was great with the second order as well. We're very happy with both systems and particularly pleased with TCWO's service. When they had to wait for a CD-RW drive that we'd ordered, they let us know right away when they'd have it and when it would be shipped. Everything else came right on schedule. They emailed when the order was sent, then sent tracking numbers so we'd be able to find where our packages were at any given time.
TCWO provided us with quality products at a great price and their customer service is simply outstanding. I will--and have already--recommended TCWO to friends interested in building or upgrading their systems and will continue to recommend them to anyone else who asks.

"I purchased several parts from TCWO. I purchased all the parts needed to build a computer. They shipped the parts about 2 days later, FedEx Express Saver. I received the parts 3 days later, as scheduled. There was one part missing, the ram heatsink. I looked at the packing list that was attached to the box. It shows that I ordered a ram heatsink, but it also shows that they shipped 0 (zero) of them. I assumed that the item is backordered. I emailed them about it yesterday. But anyways, I had the whole computer together. I turned it on, and it would not do anything. no post, no nothin'. So, I disconnected everything except for the cpu, hsf, ram, and vid card. Still no post. I swapped out vid cards with my old PCI vid card. Still no post. I came to the conclusion that the motherboard came DOA. I filled out TCWO's RMA request form and told them the whole story. I sent that form yesterday. I'm hoping they will cooperate. From reading all the other reviews here about tcwo, I think everything will be fine. But they have great prices, and fast shipping. I'll come back to them for my computer needs."

"I have bought items from TCWO on previous occasions with no problems at all. This time I was a little dissapointed though.

I purchased a CPU, hard drive, and a floppy drive on Monday morning. A couple of hours later I get a phone call from a TCWO rep. They had a porblem with my credit card, but it was quickly resolved. At this point I am thinking how great it was that TCWO responded to a problem so quickly and got it all resolved without delaying the transaction. The rep told me I would be getting a conformation e mail with a tracking number later that day. Well I never got any such e mail and on Wednesday afternoon I called them to inquire about the status of my order. Here's where the problem begins.

My call was answered very quickly by a sales rep. I gave her my order number and she looked it up for me. Here's exactly what she told me: We were out of the CPU you ordered and it was backordered. I was not too happy to hear this. It is my belief when a dealer is out of something they should be honest and let the purchaser know. The very least TCWO could have done was to ship the other items, but to save shipping they waited for the CPU to come in. The sales rep. also told me they got a huge shipment of over 300 CPU's today and my order would be going out today (Wednesday). We'll see how that goes.

Usually TCWO is a good company, but I feel slighted this time. "

"I must say that my first shopping experience with TCWO.com was indeed a pleasant one!

Even though my purchase was small (consisting of a CPU + Fan), I felt that my order was given top priority. I placed an order last night (7/29/02) and I have already received two emails alerting me of the current status of my order.

The 2nd email that I received today at 3:33pm EST said that my order had already been shipped via FEDEX Express Saver. I checked the 'Order Status' on the web site, and what do you know?...My order is on its way from Tampa, FL to Durham, NC, so I will probably receive it by Thursday!

"Extraordinary personal and concerned service. Purchased an Athlon XP 1800+ which was sent immediately. Unfortunately, it never 'posted' whatsoever but still created a burnt smell and failed. In the the 20 or so installeation of processors in various boards -- I had never experienced this. With much dread, I returned it to TCW knowing that as a first-time buyer with TCW, there was no way to defend myself that I wasn't the cause of this failure. During the RMA process and return, I dealt with Jon, Cory and Brian who could not have been more cooperative, caring and concerned with my purchase. They checked the processor and immediately sent another UPS two-day so that I would have before I had to leacve on a trip.
