She was rude and decided to take control of the call (without understanding the purpose of the call). Thereby, barring on rude when all was trying to do was show kindness by return the unpurchased item to the company for it to be forward to the customer, who had paid for it."

"I made my choices from the catalogue that I receive monthly. First, I tried to order in Canada where I live but the colour I wanted was not available here. Ordering from the US went very well and the package arrived in excellent time, however I had to pay an extra $114.00 to cover taxes and duty on the goods sent over the border. I would hesitate to do that again. Is there any way to avoid this problem.? If I could place an order in my store here in Ottawa and then have the order filled by the store,I would then pick up the order here paying the appropriate Canadian prices and taxes. I am sure all Canadian customers of Talbots would appreciate this solution!!."
