"Spent now almost 2 hours to buy 22 items, $230, for delivery today. I'm going on a trip tomorrow and my kids just informed me they have nothing to wear. I was prepared to spend about $800-900 and do school shopping at the same time... the experience was exhausting. Every item selected had to be reloaded on my devices twice (tried 2, both made me reload pages every single time). I have none of these issues with competitor sites that I use weekly for purchases at 250-400 each. Also, Then, when I went to check out, I noticed that only half of my items were available to be delivered today which puzzled me as I selected 'same-day shipping'. Little did I know that I needed to select the shipping method for every single item. As I had groceries and clothing, it would have been very useful to be able to set that preference once and then do ALL the shopping from the available options for same day. Too annoying. I'll go back to W.com or K.com until the site is less cumbersome, if ever. "

The woman working the pick up counter/returns did not acknowledge me when I was standing at the counter. I had to say “excuse me” she then looked up. I placed down a greeting card and a bow on the counter and said “I’m here for a pick up and I’d like to purchase these two items”. She said “she didn’t know how to do the pick ups (on-line orders) because she normally doesn’t work that area and they just “stuck” her there today”. She just stared at me in silence. I don’t know if she was expecting me to just walk away or what but I said “ma’am perhaps you need to find a supervisor who can show you how to do this”. She then walked away out of site. She returned a short time later and said “they said you have to go the email they sent you and find the bar code”. I had already tried that and showed her that I just kept getting a spinning red circle on the Target website. She then said I can look it up with your ID. My question I asked myself at this point was, if you knew you could look it up with my ID why didn’t we just do this from the start. She looked it up and brought me my order. I then again pointed to the items I’d laid on the counter and said I need these too. She asked “do you want to return those?” I said no, as I mentioned when I came to the counter, I was here to pick up my order and purchase these two items.
Over all the woman just had a very poor attitude. You could tell she didn’t want to be there. She seemed bothered by my presence and that she had to work. She moved very slowly. Most people at stores will immediately greet a customer in a pleasant/friendly/professional manner. None of that was present with this woman.
Upon this visit I was looking for a blue bow to go into of a gift for a baby boys baby shower. I went to the gift warping section and there were no blue bows and there were only 3 other bows in the entire area.
I’ve been to this Target location in Cleveland TN on numerous occasions and during almost every visit there are empty shelves in different locations throughout the store and the isles are often unkempt.
I’ve been to many different Targets throughout the country and have rarely if ever found one that had the amount of empty shelves and mess.
I asked my wife and friends in the area what they felt about this Cleveland TN location and they too were dissatisfied. Several of them said they just do t go there anymore.
This is exactly what I told my wife after this last visit. I said “I’m don’t with this store” to which she agreed.
I don’t know if it’s management, staffing, supply chain issues or all of these things and more. All I can do is compare it to the many different Target stores I’ve been to and this one most certainly doesn’t measure up. I hope this information will help with improvements. Good luck. "

"Checked for product availability online, website states yes we have one of this item left. I placed the order for pick up. Sent MIL to pick up item who was first told “we have no order for that”. She called me to confirm information I sent was correct, info was correct. Repeated info for customer service rep and was still told no order existed and then turned around and was told “oh that order was cancelled” of course questioned why and was told oh we must not have it in stock the online info was inaccurate”. Frustrated MIL decides to go look at similar products and lo and behold exact item that was ordered sitting right on the shelf so she paid for it out of her pocket. I’m currently still waiting on my $65 refund for the order I placed online. "

"I placed two separate orders. Got notification one of my orders was ready. Went to the store and was told one of my orders was out of stock. My wife took are son back to see if there was anything else he wanted instead and she found two of the very item I was told was out of stock, in the exact place they were supposed to be. The guy at pickup said someone forgot to bring my other order to the front and he would have to go to the back and get it, my wife watched him pull both items off the shelf and take them to the front."
