"The service in Beaumont TX store is very poor. I went there to pick up an order placed online. When I arrived there were 4 people ahead of me in the line. Soon there were 6 people behind me. There was only one associate working the pickup orders. She had to work the front service deck and go to the back of the store to retrieve the orders. I was there 45 minutes just to pick up an order. I asked for a manager. A dept. manager came; not the manager of this dept. Another dept. manager came. Then an assistant manager. The manager refused to come to speak with me. The store was not full considering it is one week before Christmas. There was merchandise on the floor in the women's clothing areas, the floors were actually dirty, associates avoid eye contact to discourage customers from asking for assistance. I left my phone number and asked that the manager contact me. It has been 7 hours since I left the message. I do not expect a call. She was too cowardly or apathetic to speak with a concerned customer. These are the reasons that most customers prefer shopping the largest online retailer. This may be just another store to shutter in Beaumont, not from low demand but because of extremely poor customer service and the ineffective and inefficient management.

"I received such friendly and helpful service at the in-store pickup/return counter from Nyla. She helped me with the app, a return, and even reminded me that I had a coupon in the app I wasn’t using and reran my order so I could use it. All this was done in such a friendly way! I know retail workers are tired and overworked at this time of year but you would not have know it by Nyla (hope I’m spelling her name correctly!)"

"The FAO Schwarz stuffed animal I purchased was the lowest price compared to any other store that was currently carrying it. Upon arrival I could tell it was handled with far more care than what you’d usually expect. It was in flawless condition, wrapped thoughtfully and arrived insanely fast. Sincerely, I couldn’t ask for more. This was a gift for my nephew and I’m super proud of myself for making to the decision on buying it from Target since it was handled with so much care. "Item shipped the day after ordered which is great! When ordered, the website and confirmation email had a few day delivery date. When the item actually shipped the delivery date was a week later than originally expected. Would have been better to just go somewhere else that had it in stock in their store. "
