"My experience is the same as everyone else here, except I'l add that I've been disconnected numerous times after holding long periods all morning on their customer service line. I'm surprised that Paypal will allow them to use their service, since they have a GOOD reputation. Teleflora needs to be investigated. Looking at the other posts, this seems to be standard operating procedure for them.

I ordered Valentines flowers for my daughter which were never received, though I received an email confirmation that they were delivered. I asked for details about the delivery and they could not provide any, even after supposedly contacting the florist. No refund was offered. They said they would escalate my call to the supervisor to see what they could do, but there has been no refund, or contact, and now I cant get through the phone system past the part there it verifies your identity. It mysteriously disconnects.

Ill take this to Paypal and anywhere else I can to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

"DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!
Ordered flowers a week ago to be delivered yesterday for Valentine's Day. Nothing. Called customer service multiple times (on hold for a total of 1 hr. 30 minutes, all told), said they "couldn't reach" the florist. Finally, I just asked for the florist's number and got ahold of them myself. Still a day late (and several hours later than they said they would arrive).

"WORST!!!!! This companies service sucks...I have tried the website which says 24 hrs service and does the 800 number...neither work nor are answered with in 10 min of holding...I guess the idea is either people will run out of min on their cell phone or just get tired of holding OR BOTH...I placed my order on 2/12/13 and IT'S 2/15/13 still nothing...no delivery...no call form the florists...AND the website asks for a phone number for the florists to call if they need information of any kind...I never got a phone call...the company is a SCAM...I will make it my duty to inform the public this is the case!!! "

"I was VERY worried after purchasing an AmazonLocal deal for Teleflora. There does not seem to be a single person on the interwebs with a good thing to say about them.

In doing some more research, I learned that teleflora doesn't handle these orders directly so much as various florists are a part of a network that receive these orders. During the checkout process it asks if you want to select a preferred florist. I chose yes, and then searched for reviews of the local shops. One in my area (Olympia, WA), Flowers by Kristil, was well reviewed online so I selected them

Placed my order on a Sunday to be delivered on Monday between the hours of 9:30 and 5 to my girlfriend's work. They arrived at 3PM with a beautiful flower arrangement. She was elated and loved them :)

While it does appear Teleflora has a quality control issue, my personal experience was fantastic and I got an unbeatable price through amazon local. So it CAN work out well if you have the right local florist handle your order.

"DO NOT USE TELEFLORA! I placed an order online with Teleflora late on Thursday evening for a Sympathy arrangement for Friday delivery, and selected a preferred florist. The florist is 3-4 miles from me, and the recipient's address. The order was not delivered, and when I checked the website for the order status, I found on my order summary that the order was routed through a florist 140 miles away. The customer service representative said this was not the case, but would not reveal the florist used or if the order was received, filled or delivered. I had to cancel the order and file a dispute with the credit card company to reverse the charge. "

"I ordered flowers in the early morning of December 17, 2012. I was assured that the flowers would be delivered that day in the early afternoon, which is what Teleflora's website contended as well, but I called to make sure.

As it turns out, the flowers weren't delivered until the day after the funeral.
If that weren't bad enough, when I called back later the day of the 18th, I was told I would be given a refund, but at the very end of our conversation the Teleflora representative said that they would refund 35% of the total cost. I said, "No." Then he asked would 65% be okay? I said, "No." Finally, he said that they would refund the total amount.

It has now been over two weeks and I still haven't received the refund to my Paypal account. Today, January 2nd, I filed a formal grievance with Paypal to resolve this dispute.

I did call Teleflora one more time today, January 2nd, but the representative insisted that they had already refunded my money. Simply not true.

I strongly recommend that anyone serious about having flowers delivered stay away from Teleflora. They are tardy with their delivery; they don't resolve earnest grievances honestly; and, they demonstrate time and again no urgency in your matter.

"I ordered a rosary for a casket for my brother's casket on November 27, 2012, and to be delivered that same day for the viewing. They never came, nor was anything delivered. The next day I called Teleflora to see if something else was sent in place. I asked them why wasnt the rosary delivered knowing red roses are very common, and shouldn't have been an issue to send something else in place of it. Well apparently they couldn't confirm if anything else was sent. I was at the viewing from 4 to 10 and didnt see what I ordered. The funeral was the next day at 10 and they couldn't get anything done for me. So I wasnt able to bury my brother with any type of flowers from my family. I will never use them again. It is very upsetting. It's not like you can make it better by sending something the next day. The rep asked me if I wanted to send something to the family and I told her if she was kidding?! I mean why would I send flowers to my own family?! They had to cancel the order and refunded my money, however it still made me upset. I called again and told them I felt that I should receive some flowers to be able to put on his grave, and for free of charge. The rep told me they could not do that, but could give me 50%. I asked her if she was kidding, and that why would I pay them for flowers knowing I did the first time and my order was never delivered. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and they offered to send me a dozen red roses on an easel. It's not the 50 roses rosary that I really wanted, but I do applaud them for trying to make it better. I am still upset about it, and I still will not order from them again!"

"I AM SOOOOO MAD!!!! Sent a $57 bouquet to my parents in October, 2012. Since I did not hear from parents, I call Teleflora at 4:15pm and was put on hold for several minutes, then said they were 'on the truck' out for delivery - aka "WE FORGOT"! Well, they not receive it until 5:30pm (like Wednesday is so busy).

THE FLOWERS IN THE AVATAR ARE A FAR CRY FROM THE 'PRETTY PLEASE' BOUQUET! HOW EMBARRASSING! It was similar to a cellophane spray from a grocery store, plunked, and I mean PLUNKED in a vase - it was not even arranged (my mother tried arranging it! Ugh!), NO baby's breath, 1/2 the required flowers and roses. I wanted to cry.

Called Teleflora 2 days later and requested a manager call me back. Nothing. Called the next day and asked for a manager. Operator came back and said a complaint must be filed within 48 hrs for a refund. Oh, huh, operator, I just stated I called yesterday with a complaint, asked to have a manager call me back which no one did... I did call within 48 hrs... read the notes!

Using a Groupon coupon, I thought I would give them a try. Teleflora did refund money and gave me another Groupon. Why? So I can go through this aggravation again? No, thanks. Called Groupon and they graciously refunded my money with no hassle! Yea, Groupon! Feel much, much, better!!

When my sister-in-law found out what happened she said, "Oh, some of the executives who live in Florida (but presently working in CT) would sent flowers down to their family and they would be half-dead. I would never use them." Day late...

I have other things to do than waste my time dealing with all this - but did spent time to write this because I do not want someone else to have to go through it too!

"This company is not efficient. They did not care about my personal loss and let me hanging with no floweres for a memorial service. The intial floweres received were horrible, lifeless, and with a cheap ornament that was not what was advertised. I found the employess and management uninterested and unwilling to help. I will never use them again. Stop emailing me please."

"Do NOT use Teleflora. This is by the worst customer service business I have EVER, EVER encountered in my life. They market themselves as a "flower delivery" business and yet they NEVER delivered the flowers I ordered for my mom, ruining her Mother's Day.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom on the Tuesday (May 8th) before Mother's Day because she was going out of town on Thursday and I wanted her to be able to enjoy them for a few days before she left. Oddly, no telephone call from her that day, so I called and fished around for "oh, the flowers are gorgeous" statement on Wed....no flowers. I call Teleflora and get a very unapologetic customer service rep who says we can try again tomorrow...."try", not we are so sorry and we will get it done. After negotiating with him, he agrees to give them to me at 50% off and I explain they will need to be delivered the following Monday as she's going out of town tomorrow. Fine. Promises me it will be done and that Teleflora will include a note of apology explaining it was their error that the flowers weren't delivered on Tues. as well as giving me a call when they were delivered and my credit card was charged.

Talk to my mom on Mother's Day, explain there was a mix-up, but that her beautiful flowers will arrive tomorrow. Still no flowers on Monday. I call and get a "we're closed so call back another time" message at 6:00 pm that day, so I go online and send their customer service dept a message; their canned "we received your email and will get to it eventually" email back and that is all I ever hear from them online.

Call again the next day. Spend an hour on hold with a canned message playing "we expect your call to be answered in 2 or 3 minutes" for the hour duration wait. It is now about 6:04 pm; get a live person and explain the situation. She says she'll call the local florist and see if they can get them delivered the next day if I'll hold....sure. But, having waited an hour, my neck is killing me so I switch the phone to speaker phone inadvertently cutting off the call. Call back...after 6:00pm and get the "we're closed so call back another time" message. Arghhh. But, I assume since she had my account up with all my contact info, she'll call me back and let me know what she finds out. No return call.

I call back the next day, and spend another 75 minutes on hold for someone to help me....I ask to speak to a supervisor and am told she's busy. That's okay, I will hold. She tires of me holding and offers 50% off and delivery tomorrow. I explain we already tried that and it didn't work. I need to speak with a supervisor. While she clearly puts me on hold and goes and talks with the supervisor, she keeps telling me that the supervisor is busy, nor will give me a supervisor name or number. She's waiting for me to give up. I finally have to leave and give her my cell number and ask her to have a supervisor call me back that day. You guessed it, no call back.

I finally emailed customer service the following day (mind you 10 days after I originally made the order) and said "this seems superfluous since you are incapable of delivering my floral order, but please make sure my order is cancelled." I immediately get back an email stating "we're sorry your order didn't work out. Your cancellation will be processed and it could take days to refund your order." They had actually CHARGED my credit card days ago....but never delivered the order.

This organization is a sham and should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. I am appalled that they call themselves a florist when they are incapable (and not at all apologetic at their failure) to deliver flowers. Do not use this company.

"Horrible business, I placed an order on Friday to be delivered Saturday for Mother's Day. I went over to my mother's house on Sunday for Mother's Day and she did not receive the flowers I ordered. I have not heard anything from Teleflora and I made sure my receipt was correct. It turns out my receipt was correct and I still have not heard anything from this terrible business, even though I did get charged for my order."

"STAY AWAY from this company! They are horrible- I ordered flowers for mothers day and they cancelled my order twice- without even notifying me. They sent an email at the end of the day apologizing for not having the flowers in stock and offered a 30% off coupon. I tried ordering for the second time- and they cancelled the order AGAIN! Trying to call them is useless because they place you on hold for literally an hour. I will never use this company again!"

"DO NOT USE!!! IF Thinking about buying from Teleflora check out websites below.. I wish i researched before buying...I ordered hats off to mother deluxe bouquet, spent over $80....what I got DID not match picture at all...rec. small bouquet of wilting roses wouldn't have paid even $15...called and kept getting "I understand"...they will give me 50% back after much complaining but I am still paying over 40 for a poor bouquet...they also asked if they could pick up the bouqet which i gave to my mother for moms day....HOW awful...she just lost her husband and going thru a lot doesn't need for someone to come and take away her flowers...what do they want them back for anyway...I even offered to send pic. to them...FYI...says call 24 hours couldn't get thru not right hours so i called again at 1-***-***-**** and pushed option 1 "if you are calling to place an order" and got a hold of a live person....WE all need to rally and complain...some info:

"I placed an order on Thursday, May 10 for flowers to be sent to my mother-in-law for Saturday delivery. I rec'd the confirmation email at 2:11 pm on May 10. On Saturday afternoon at 2:45 PM I received a call from Teleflora that they would not be able to deliver the flowers. They did not provide me a reason. They asked if I wanted the flowers delivered on Monday. I said no, who wants flowers delivered the day after!!!! I canceled my order. I called the local florist in KY and they informed me had I called them early in the morning, they would have been able to deliver flowers, but now it was too late. I have used Teleflora for years, but no more. They should NEVER have accepted my order if they did not know if they could deliver. And calling me 3 days after my order was placed is totally unacceptable. Or course, they still have my money!!!
