"My flower is not delivered. I contacted their customer service for the confirmation of delivery, The first rep said "The flower is on the truck and it's on the road." The second one said they will call back and they never called me back. The third one gave me a florist's phone number but it's already closed. This company ruined my valentine day with lies. Worst Valentine Ever.Spend money on service quality, not the Superbowl advertisement!!!"

"After holding for 3 hours and 14 minutes, I was able to get a hold of a customer representative. The customer representative took down my confirmation number 14991373. Right after looking up the confirmation number, the CR asked, "do you mind if they re-deliver tomorrow?" I replied with "no, you cannot redeliver tomorrow. and i would like to cancel my order." Not wanting to get mad at the CR, i simply asked "so did they not even attempt to deliver the flowers?" At this point, the CR replied with "well, what had happened was that the florist took on too many orders" since i knew it was not his fault, i patiently waited for him to finish what he had to do to cancel the order and issue me a refund.

That was only part of my frustration today. A person who means a lot to me did not get their flowers delivered on time today and in which she had to spend her time at work in the mail room to see if somehow the flowers WERE delivered. I understand that things happen in life, and not everything goes the way it should. However, the fact that i did NOT receive a single email, phone call, or notice that the flowers were NOT going to be delivered is preposterous. I am not sure who runs your company, but shouldn't someone OTHER than the customer be ensuring that the customer's order gets fulfilled? On top of that, i had spent 3 hours and 15 minutes during my work day just to get a hold of a customer representative is ridiculous! Yes, you read that correctly, 3 hours and 15 minutes. I have a screen shot of the timer on the phone with your customer representative if you would like. I know it was valentines day and that it is a very busy day for florists. But did you or the florist consider that before thinking it was ok to just "skip over this order" and not even ATTEMPT to deliver the flowers? When the decision was made that this order could not be fulfilled, who decided that it was ok to not reach out to the customer notifying them that the flowers would not make it on time. A simple reason of "the florist was overwhelmed" does not make up the excuse for a business who spent millions of dollars on advertising just to lose customers because their choice of florists were not chosen correctly, lack of communication to the customer, and lack of customer service availability. I do not expect this email to be taken seriously since i'm sure that i was not the only one who was truly disappointed with your services. However, i do wish that you take the time to read this and reconsider what can be done to prevent this from happening in the future with other customers. I truly hope that you would get it right sooner or later and stop ruining important days for other people in this world. With that said, i just want the company Teleflora to know that I will NEVER use your services again. I'm also pretty sure that most of my friends and family will also never use your service after hearing the horror story of what i had gone through. I hope that your company enjoys ruining the 2012 Valentine's Day for all the customers that you have lost today.

"My husband ordered flowers for me for Valentine's Day that never showed up due to an error by Teleflora. When my husband called customer support they gave him a coupon code that expires before the next holiday or special event (birthday, anniversary) and when he told them this they asked if I was a mom and suggested flowers for Mother's Day. I'm not a mom so that doesn't work either. I've never had this happen before. Unacceptable. You can't run your business this way. "

"Do not use this company. The flowers I ordered for Valentine's Day were never delivered even though deliver for that day was guaranteed and required additional fees which were paid. When I called customer service that evening to find out why, they were closed. Waited on hold for customer service for over 40 minutes the next day to hear my call will be answered in 1-2 minutes five separate times. Gave up and sent an email. Never received a response or the flowers."

"I went online two days ago to order flowers for a family
friend because his mother had passed away. Generally I order through a local florist, but was having difficulty locating someone that could deliver the same day. I went to Teleflora's website and selected an arrangement, which of course, did not come up at the same price it stated online. It had shown the smallest arrangement at $29.95 plus all the fees, but when I went to order it, it came up $39.95 plus all of the fees.
Out of pure desperation and against my better judgement, I went ahead and ordered the arrangement anyway. When I arrived at the funeral home, there were so many beautiful flowers! Then I got to "our" arrangement and I was so embarrassed! It was a "cheap and scrawny" rendition of the arrangement that I had ordered to say the least! Not only that, but half of the flowers looked like they were dead or dying and my fiancee's name was misspelled. I contacted the company regarding this matter. I was offered a 50% refund. I told them that was not acceptable and asked for a full refund. Their response was "to issue a full refund we will need to pick up the arrangement." Are you kidding me? First of all, the funeral was Wednesday, so I doubt the arrangement is still there. Secondly, who goes to a funeral and takes back a flower arrangement...seriously that is creepy!

"Teleflora delivered the flowers a day late despite the fact that they were ordered three weeks in advance. They left the flowers on the doorstep instead of calling and trying to make arrangements to hand deliver. They called the recipient to tell him they had been left on the porch but he could barely understand what the person was saying becasue they did not speak English well.The floral arrangement was beautiful according to the recipient. Two other orders were handled flawlessly. Rating is for late order."

"Hey guys its best to find a local florist in the town you are ordering flowers from. For one its saves a lot of money without Telefloras crazy charges. Most of us have smart phones now so next time you are wanting to place an order for someone look up the city of where they are located and contact a local florist. It will save you time and money in the long run."

"Here is my email to Teleflora customer service, it says it all:

I am writing to let you know that I just canceled my order for Mother's Day flowers. I thought that placing the order on May 5th would allow for delivery on May7th, my flowers were not delivered on time, even though your website assured me they would. Yesterday evening when I called the Teleflora to find out what happened, I spent 35 minutes on hold, than 15 minutes with a 'customer service' rep and then a supervisor. Neither one of them could tell me a) why my order wasn't delivered and b) if it would be delivered the next day, telling me to check my email or call them back the next day. By the end of the phone call it was clear they wanted to get me off the phone, and finally gave me the excuse that it was Mother's day and they were busy.

This afternoon I called my mother to see if the flowers had been delivered, and she told me that she had tried to return a message left by a Teleflora florist, and who was rude to her when she finally was able to get a hold of them. The flowers still aren't there today (Mother's Day), and they have now made her experience terrible as well.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a florist service. After years of being a loyal Teleflora customer, I can safely say that I will never, ever order from your company again. Hello 1-800-flowers.com.

And BTW I am posting this on Yelp and anywhere else can find Happy Mother's Day.

"DO NOT USE TELEFLORA! The value received for the price you pay is just terrible. I placed an order for $78 worth of flowers for my Mom for Mother's Day and the "bouquet" is tiny. It's just shameful that Teleflora treats their customers like that. I'm certain it's not an issue with the local florist that I've known and used for nearly 30 years. Horrible value."

"I pre-ordered flowers to send to my mother for her 70th birthday. The day the flowers were suppose to be delivered I received an email at 10:50 am stating they would not be able to deliver on the day requested and call to reschedule. I called and they said no shops were open and when did I want to reschedule. I explained that it was my mothers birthday and asked why they did not inform me sooner. She had no explanation and was very rude - I ended up canceling the order. The service agent did not offer me any type of compensation or apology she said she would cancel the order and hung up on me after I told her I would never order from there company again. "

"I ordered a funeral basket for my cousins funeral that was suppose to arrive the day before the funeral. Drove out of state to the funeral and was saddened and embarrassed to see flowers were never delivered. Called customer service and was told they could send a plant to the deceased house. "I reeeeally should've checked Teleflora out before ordering, but they're all over the place, so I made an assumption that they were halfway decent... but I was wrong! I purchased PREMIUM roses (supposed to be like 20 roses) in a CLEAR vase for Mother's Day and when my mother showed me the arrangement, I couldn't believe my eyes. Mostly Tiger Lilies with 4 lame roses sticking out of the top in a pink vase.

Then I called up to complain and they said "okay, 20% back and we will resend the CORRECT arrangement by Thursday" It's Tuesday today and NOTHING. So I just called back and got a refund and they said "someone will call you to confirm the refund within 5 business days." Okay. Just like someone was going to resend the thing I ordered in the first place? Awful company. They'll most likely fail hopefully.

"Delivery in a vase preassembled was nice, but flowers were not fresh at all. 2 of the 12 came weathered, and were gone within 2 days. The rest were gonners with about 4 days. Flowers were not fresh at all and was not worth the 80 bucks i spent. Will not order from again. Note: this was delivered from TeleFlora via a local florist, so I guess this does depend on which florist Teleflora contracts with in your area...so if your in South San Francisco area DO NOT USE TELEFLORA AT ALL!"
