Couldn't be easier

"I own a restaurant here in NE Ohio. I've used WebRestaurantStore several times. The online store couldn't be easier. Shipping is quick and very fair. Only had one problem, when a very heavy item item wasn't packed with enough care and arrived damaged, and WRS customer service wasn't very helpful. Otherwise, my experiences have been very good. "

Good source, but confusing pricing

"I bought dough boxes which are a good value. However, It wasn't clear that the lower price was for multiples of 24, not 24 and more. So I ended up paying a higher price for 12 of the 36 boxes on my order. Not cool."

Criminal returns Policy!

"As we discovered, be absolutely positive that you are going to keep whatever you plan to order from this business because if you decide to return it, you will be charged a 30% return fee plus return shipping!! This recently happened to us when we inadvertently ordered the wrong electric knife sharpener. On a $200. item this is a $60. penalty! Also, any reputable internet or retail business has a readily available phone number to talk to a human being. This company doesn't, only a chat line. Not being a member of the Better Business Bureau also indicates a underlying problem with this business. "

“I apologize that you did not have a positive experience when ordering from us. The reason we charge a restocking fee is because we want to continue to keep prices as low as possible for you. When an item is returned, there are additional costs associated with processing the return. Companies that do not charge restocking fees pass the costs of their Returns Department onto their customers through higher priced items. Instead of raising our prices and charging every customer for frivolous returns costs, we only charge a restocking fee for items that are a standard return. Horrible service

"Ordered online and when I was checking out , the site indicated that I had an account and had to sign in to proceed. I haven't ordered from them in many years so I had to do a password reset and eventually was able to login. The wrinkle is that when I logged into my account, it changed my shipping address to the old one in my account. I didn't notice this as I had already completed the address section of the checkout process. The product was shipped to the old address and they refused shipment. I received no notification from the store and only learned after checking the tracking information. I contacted the seller to reroute the shipment and they said it would be treated as a return and I was charged additional shipping and a restocking fee. I ended up paying over $60 for nothing. I ordered the same item from another company and it ended up being cheaper for the item and free shipping. "

"I work for a large church, and I've been ordering from Webstaurant for a few years now. We always find great prices on items we use regularly, as well as discovering a few solutions for items such as permanent tent cards for our coffee & tea urns (ex. coffee, decaf, hot water). Their prices on tablecloth rolls beat the competition. "

not flexible on returns

"I made my first purchase with this company and was not satisfied with the quality of the items so I wanted to return them. The required a 30% restocking fee plus return shipping fees, I was ok with the shipping but not the fees. I asked the agent if she could make an exception, she would not, as such I do not recommend buying from these guys, shoppers should be able to return small items without getting jabbed with a fee.

Do not buy from this company.

RIDICULOUS!!

"First time buyer with webstaurant, and it was the worst. My items were not the size I was expecting, so I wanted to do a simple exchange! WRONG!! They charge a ridiculous restocking fee, plus shipping to return items. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM EVER AGAIN!!! If you are unsure of the items you are ordering, save yourself the hassle and pay a few extra bucks elsewhere than wasting your money here with these guys!"

However, in order to maintain this low pricing, we don't have an exchange process. In the event of a standard return, the item would need to be sent back, and a restocking fee is deducted from the return credit for the added service of processing an item back into stock. If we did not have a restocking fee our prices would need to be higher in order to absorb the added cost.
