I cancelled an item, but they shipped it anyway. Even though it NEVER arrived to me - they charged a "RESTOCKING FEE" of $1,000.00
hidden on my credit card statement. webstaurant said they had credited me fully, but alas, they lied. They kept a little for themselves, to the tune of $1000.00. My credit card company says there is nothing they can do about it- it is in the fine print of all purchases.
So this company will change you no matter what - even if you cancel something, you pay.
I'm furious & don't want this to happen to anyone else.

"What a terrible experience. Just look at all the negative reviews. Don't expect anything but a hassle if anything goes wrong. Oh wait, you can expect something else if something goes wrong. You can expect to see a very small refund whether the fault is yours or not! Oh and be sure and scavenge hunt for any useful information you can find on the website. It could be hidden even though you would expect it to be prominently displayed. It could be disguised and hidden in the unlikely place under the heading "you may also need", that little box with the question mark that you have to click on. But what if you didn't click on that little box? Sorry sucker you lose! And if all that is not frustrating enough, be sure and participate in an online chat with a customer service rep. who is unwilling and unable to do anything to help you because "they aren't set up for exchanges". What they are set up to do is to deplete your refund quite efficiently. The hour I spent "chatting" with customer service was just priceless and equally as fruitless. I am now the proud owner of $75 of items that don't work. What a bargain!!"

"I have been using them since I started my pizzeria. Overall, I love them. Not to mention, give their Avantco products a try, they are really good quality, and you can save alot over the so called named brands. The only negative, and what cost them the last star, is their shipping is pricey. They really need to offer more options then FedEx. They try to say, oh order more and it is cheaper, but lets be honest. FedEx is a application in the cart, that ties into the FedEx API. Your overall prices are great, but explain it how you like, the shipping is costly. But even with the shipping cost, alot of times it is still cheaper to get it through them rather then US Foods believe it or not.
Their shipping is fast though. So I guess your paying for speed is a good way of looking at it when your charged $40 for like a single box of plastic souffle cups and 8" togo tins. "

"I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of items from Webresraurant over the 4 years I’ve owned a small restaurant. I ordered what I thought was a Belgian waffle maker and apparently mistakenly ordered a classic one. I went to return it and Webrestaurant wants to charge a $58 restock fee on a $300 Waffle maker. Being a truly small business, I can’t afford to do that and buy a different one. Webrestaurant has no regard for small business and I caution you extremely to consider purchasing your items from a company that accepts returns without an excessive restock fee!!"
