"I started buying disposable containers from a friend's store in Florida so when she went out of business I was without a source for those items. I happened upon webstaurantstore.com quite by accident and found they had the same items at a much lower cost! I've bought everything from a potato peeler to drink mixers, aluminum pans and plastic deli containers. They are quick to ship, wonderful to reply to requests and questions. I just can't rate them highly enough. Super company!!"

"Ever since finding WEBstaurant, I have not shopped anywhere else for my catering company. Not even my local restaurant supply store. The prices and services can't be beat. I have placed over a dozen orders in the last 12 months and all of them have been perfect from the packing and shipping to the delivery time. Whenever I have a need for my business, I immediately go to their site and browse. I usually end up buying more than what is needed, due to not being able to pass up the quality and pricing. "

"I spent a good bit of time perusing restaurant equipment websites for the best bottom line prices on specific steam table pans needed for our church. After all was said and done - Webstaurant had the best price. That's good. I had some questions that were promptly answered via instant chat - plus, I emailed questions and received a quick, helpful response. But the unexpected thing I just learned was that my order was almost instantly shipped out! The pricing is wonderfully helpful, the shipping is fair, I'm impressed. I also appreciate the completeness of the information provided on the items. Very helpful to those of us looking for specific pans. Thank you!"

"What wonderful service!! when the shipment of glasses I ordered arrived, one of them was broken and I requested a replacement. Normally, they just refund the cost, but in this case, the person I spoke with contacted the manufacturer and requested a replacement. When the replacement arrived, it was not the glass from my set, but a stemmed wine glass... WEBstaurant followed up and asked me if I had received my glass, and when I told them what happened, and that I was happy to live with the wine glass, they credited my account. I will be ordering from this wonderful company again. :) btw... the glasses I got that weren't broken are perfect... (and so's the wine glass... lol) Thank you again for extraordinary service."

"I ordered a 'pack of 50' Parchment papers. When they arrived they were in a HUGE box with mountains of clear plastic stuffing which would not have done anything to protect the sheets from being crushed based on the type of box they shipped in. There must be a better box designed to ship flat, thin parchment paper in that weighs 1-2 lbs. It may help to hold down the cost of shipping to customers as well. The size of the box and amount of plastic shipped is my only complaint. Shipment came quite quickly so no complaints with shipping time or product."

"Reasonably priced but unreliable--A Heads Up For Chefs;
I have ordered twice from webstaurantstore.com recently. The first order was relatively simple. A few disposable cupcake pans and liners-just to see how long it takes to get an order. To my surprise, it showed up the next day via FEDEX GROUND with only minor damage.
But the second order was going to take a week because "the warehouse was backed up and too busy". Thank God for Restaurant Depot. I'll never order from webstaurantstore.com again. They weren't even remotely helpful other than the usual"sorry :(" when I explained the urgency of this order. Sometimes when you're in this business, client orders and parties pop up in a pinch and one has to find reliable, consistent vendors. "Sorry" doesn't cut it in the restaurant business - Performance, Results and Remedies do. There are too many restaurant supply stores with bad service out there and they just don't get it.
One more thing - expect a long hold time when you call and don't expect your money to be returned as fast as they debited it. Normal protocol is to run the charge AFTER the order is shipped. Webstaurantstore.com. debits your account without shipping it-So if your order isn't shipped, your money may take a while to be credited back - figure a week or so.
Cancelled Order. Inconsistency=Unreliability=Buy Somewhere Else
*UPDATED RESPONSE* - "Forewarned" means customers are told BEFORE they place an order - Not at the end of the day when the order is just sitting in a warehouse.It's important for working culinary professionals to know that while webstaurantstore.com is reasonably priced, the service can be slow and inconsistent. Definitely not a place a professional chef should stake their reputation with - no matter what "Guarantees" they offer.

Although you are not located far from us, choosing an Expedited Shipping option also guarantees that your order (if placed before 2 PM EST) will ship out the same day – pushing it ahead of all the other orders in the warehouse. When you chatted with us, we just wanted to forewarn you that there was a chance the order may not ship until the next day (worst case scenario) since the order was placed with ground shipping. However, we do ship out very quickly and your location is only a 1 day transit point from us, as you’ve found with your first order! "I have very really bad experience with this WEBstaurant, that I should buy for 6 parts and is ok for me, but the bad things is almost 3 week my order not coming and nobody contacting me until I go chat with them and they say the parts is discontinue...what the h...
After that I just curious and I go check to their website, believe it or not, they still put that parts thing I order and didn't deleted, I mean they knew that parts is discontinue so why they still put it there, so be careful deal with them.

Thank you for reviewing our site and I’m sorry about the experience you had shopping with us. As soon as a drop ship order is placed with us, we follow up with an email within 24 hours that lets the recipient know the order will be coming directly from the manufacturer and if there is a particular need by date, to let us know so we can do our best to get it to you. Although we did not receive a response to the email we sent, we followed up with the manufacturer and they let us know they did not yet have an expected date (but did not indicate it could be discontinued). Unfortunately when we followed up again, they said they were stopping production on that item but are looking to source an alternative to that part.

I apologize for the delay in getting you this information and can assure you that if the manufacturer let us know they were stopping production on that part sooner, we would have let you know right away! Additionally, this item has been removed from our site until the manufacturer lets us know they have a replacement. "The best thing about Webstaurant Store is finding things and the selection. Well, actually the prices are darn good too. My chef recently made a trip to albany and bought some stuff before checking Webstaurant. We later priced the items and found the prices cheaper on Westaurant's site so now we have to take them back! I like the way you can do a quick comparison of dinner plates also, that is fantastic. Great site."
