"On Jan 5th I ordered 160 rulers from this company. Shortly after I got a message stating the order would be delayed. Since I needed it on a certain date, I contacted them to cancel the order before it even shipped. I was told I would have to wait to receive it because they couldn't guarantee they could cancel, which seemed shady as it is. When I contacted them once I received it, I was told they usually don't return "special items" then I would be charged their 30% restocking fee. That means I was charged shipping and $73 for an order I tried to cancel BEFORE it even shipped. They state it's their cost to restock and inspect the items- a box of rulers I never opened AND tried to return before it was even shipped. I understand why that restocking fee makes sense in some cases but this is a ripoff in my situation. I will never order or recommend this company. They are crooks. I should not be paying a restocking fee for an item I tried to cancel BEFORE it was even shipped. They just spewed a bunch of generic responses justifying their insane fee but this fee should not apply in this case."

"I ordered oolong tea @ $10.49. After I ordered I saw I was charged $19.00 for shipping at a total of $29.49. This was not done in an upfront way. I never saw any shipping charge. In fact while reading facts I read something about free shipping. So to you who want to order from this company beware that they add $19.00 to your order. "

"I went to WRS to purchase some disposable cups and lids (sold separately).
My cart contained:
- 2 packs of 25 cups.
- 1 pack of 50 lids.
Ground shipping to a residence for these items was going to cost $16.11. As an experiment, I then removed the cups from my cart.
My cart now contained:
- 1 pack of 50 lids.
The ground shipping quote to the same address increased $18.48.
I contacted customer service who told me that typically the more items I purchase, the lower the shipping cost per item (which is just basic math).
The WRS customer service rep was unable to explain why the fee increased as the package's size and weight decreased, and instead decided to reply to my emails with some copy/paste from their shipping FAQ page.
I ordered since my desire for these particular, hard-to-find items outweighed my disgust with their anti-consumer practices (I hate to say), but I will look anywhere and everywhere else in the future rather than purchasing from them.
Their lack of willingness to help + what I suspect is a fee for a low-quantity order being tacked into shipping has made me a detractor for WRS. I encourage anyone shopping in low-quantity use to avoid this retailer. "

"When I placed the order last January 5, the delivery window was promised two business days. I am sitting with five business days waiting for this product. I need this product as soon as possible and at least by Monday, January 16. If you can not deliver on time, you should let your customer know ahead of time. "
