Unhappy Plus customer

"I think charging people $99 for Plus and then charging shipping on some items is ridiculous. Also if you need a shipment sent to a different address, you have to pay another $49 for plus to add another shipping address. I am not happy with that. The $99 a month is ridiculous to begin with."

“Thank you for your review! I am sorry to hear that you are frustrated with the Plus program. Plus is designed with the commercial business in mind, who is placing regular orders. While about 80-85% of the items on our site do ship free with the Plus program, there are some items that are not eligible for Plus. This information is listed on the Plus page, https://www.webstaurantstore.com/plus/. The subscription is for one shipping address, however you are able to add additional shipping addresses for just $49 a month. We do understand that Plus is not for everyone, and if it is not longer suiting your needs you are welcome to cancel this subscription directly in your account. Sold me appliances they don't actually have

"I just spent $800 on appliances only to get an email the next day like "oh, we don't have these, we'll get them to you whenever we feel like it, we're not sure what month it will be but at least three months out. Yes, we know we said we'd send it in one day at the time of purchase. No, we don't think that's a binding contract."

They also don't want to issue me a refund

The person I spoke with "Katie" was incredibly rude and wouldn't allow me to speak to anyone else at all.

They do not think that promising next-day delivery and waiting a quarter of a year is fraud.

“Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that there was a delay with the items on your order! I reviewed the order that you placed for two chest freezers, and do see that we were able to provide you with an estimated ship date of 5/15. With COVID19, there has been an influx of orders for chest freezers and our stock is regularly being depleted. While some items on our site may state that they "usually" ship in one business day, we do not guarantee ship dates. We did send you an email after your order was placed to inform you that there would be a delay in being able to ship this out, however we did not state "we'll get them to you whenever we feel like it". We do not capture funds until the order ships out, so you were not charged for this order. I also see that you had requested cancellation, which we were able to take care of for you. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach us at Help@Webstaurantstore.com. ”
