"I've already explained my situation to the rep I was speaking with a week earlier. I buy a lot of items from Webstaurant and I usually never have to return or exchange anything. The one time I needed to exchange an Item (order #491699070) I was told that I had to pay a restocking fee and pay for the return shipping which will make me lose a lot of money. All I wanted to do is exchange it since I ordered the wrong size. "

"Went looking for some glassware recently and couldn't find quite what I wanted in any of the usual places, so I did a Google search and WebrestaurantStore came up. The had what I wanted for a good 30% less than I usually paid, so I decided to give them a try. I had some special delivery instructions, and they contacted me literally within minutes of my order being placed to confirm them.
My package arrived in two days, much sooner than expected. The glassware was impeccably boxed and protected -- I think you could have thrown it of the back of a truck, and it would have survived intact.
The product was exactly as described, and exactly what I needed, at a fabulous price. I buy a lot of stuff on-line, but this was maybe the best on-line purchasing experience I've had, ever. Will definitely be shopping this vendor again. Recommended."

"I ordered 1000 dinner butter mints from these people. They came in a timely manner, but when I opened one, then about a dozen, they were all hard as a rock and had very little taste. Very unacceptable!! I emailed them a very smooth, courteous email explaining what happened and they responded quickly. But their response was very odd, maybe meant to be funny, but it wasn't. They said they couldn't take them back because their strict control was to maintain the high quality of their products. Maybe they should have started that control and should have been implemented BEFORE they took my $$$ and sent the junk they sent. OK....here is their resolve....they said the best thing for me to do was to go out and try to sell them locally to get rid of them and recoup some of my money, that they were very happy to take. I was very nice in my response, telling them I was a Real Estate Developer/Contractor and really had no interest in "peddling dinner mints" in my local area. Maybe they had too much wine at lunch, but their response is about the most unprofessional reply I could have imagined. If they were trying to be humorous, they failed.
So needless to say, my review of this company is a -10, and would not recommend anyone purchase from them......unless you want to get a crazy, ridiculous response and waste a little money.
