"The product I ordered was not in stock and was on back order. I was given the option of ordering an upgraded version. Since my initial purchase was a want rather than a need, I declined and indicated that if I could not get the product I ordered that I would cancel the order. The rep said she would talk to her supervisor and, after a few minutes wait, they offered me the upgraded product for the price I was paying for the original product. I have not received the product yet so can not vouch for the quality but their willingness to be flexible on pricing to close the sale was appreciated. As a business owner, I have done the same to close a sale and the customers always come back and order again."

"Ordered a Canon OEM battery. There were some issues with the order. A couple of phone calls and the manager called and is working on a resolution.

Will update on result.

Update-
The battery arrived today. It was what was ordered, shipped USPS and arrived in a sealed OEM package.

The background on this order is as follows:

I placed an order for the Canon OEM battery on the web page, which said it was in stock. Received a call the next day saying the battery was out of stock and offered a pair of generic replacements with a charger at a comparable price. I declined and said I'd wait until the OEM model was back in stock. Was told it would be 3 weeks.

Called in 3 weeks later to see if it was in stock. Was told it would be 3 weeks. Called back in 3 weeks and asked for status of my order. Was told battery was still out of stock and it would be 2 weeks.

I placed a negative review here. Within an hour or two I received a call from the manager saying there must have been some mistake and if I would change my review as reflected above he would send my order. I was reluctant since their track record was not too good, but he reminded me I could always edit my review later. Within 2 hours I received an email shipping confirmation of the order.

Bottom line is I received my order at a good price after 6 weeks and placing a negative review here.

"; I ordered a Canon NB-2LH Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for my digital camera on Tuesday. Within 45 minutes I got an email telling me that my order shipped and a tracking number was included. The battery arrived shortly after and I used it on my camping trip the next weekend. I was able to use it without having to worry about charging it and it was much better than the old one I was using. They are very helpful and I am very pleased with their service and support. "Didn't have item in-stock. Was informed it would be about 5 weeks (which is too long - we go on vacation in 4).
Spoke with manager to resolve issue. Awaiting shipment.

UPDATE 6/29/2013:
BEWARE! Bait-and-switch! ***READ NOTE BELOW REGARDING "POSITIVE" REVIEWS***
In spite of the 1-star reviews claiming "bait-and-switch", I took a chance because of the multitude of 5-star ratings shown in Google's search results.
So, at 10:30AM, I ordered a Sony NP-FV100 battery for $63 (the price I saw on Amazon was $98). When they called later in the day (around 4pm), I knew what to expect (thanks to all the 1-star reviews). They said, "the battery you ordered is back-ordered and will take 5 weeks". I said, "then cancel the order." The CR replied, "we have a similar battery..." I said, "I don't want it. I ordered a Sony brand battery. If you don't have it, cancel the charge to my credit card." She claimed, "these are the same as the Sony ones: they have a chip inside so the camera recognizes it as a Sony... Sony has other companies produce their batteries... it comes with a 5-year warranty..." blah, blah, blah. The kicker was when she BS'ed me by saying, "and this one is actually a better one (4200 instead of 3900), so you'll actually get an extra hour more per charge."
I replied, "if Sony uses this company, then it would say Sony on it. You can't make that promise that 300 more mAh will give me an extra hour in my camcorder. And if something goes wrong, it'll void my warranty. I don't feel like paying $30 less for something that could ruin a $600 camcorder because you don't actually have the name brand I ordered. Cancel my order."
I had to request the cancellation 4 different times during the 5-minute conversation before she finally did it.
I ended up ordering from Amazon - hopefully, they will send me an actual Sony-brand battery.

I understand persistence and salesmanship, but don't defraud your customers with bait-and-switch tactics and unsubstantiated (or flatly false) claims.
Beware... based on my experience and other reviews, not having the actual item in-stock (even though the website says otherwise) and trying to sell a knock-off is this company's M.O.

NOTICE - June 12th, the day after the above review was originally posted, the manager (Michael Stevens) called to beg me to take it down, promising that he would rush order the actual Sony battery (not the knock-off) in 3 days. He also said that he would give it to me for $30, instead of the listed $63.
My bank account was charge $33.95, but it is now 17 days later and no battery.
As of June 29th, I have requested my order be canceled and my money refunded. I'm only hoping I can still get the battery from Amazon in time.

"TYPICAL BAIT AND SWITCH...YOU PLACE ORDER THEN YOU GET A CALL THAT ITS ON BACK ORDER ALTHOUGH THEIR WEBSITE ALWAYS SAYS ITS IN STOCK. "AVOID! As others have said: this is a bait and switch SCAM!

They claim to have brand name products in stock when you put in the order online but then call back the next day to say it's going to take 4-6 weeks and offer to switch to an alternative (generic, non-brand-name) product. Do not ever buy from them.

"I ordered 2 rechargeable camera batteries and a charger unit.
I received a phone call that the charge wasn't available for 4
weeks. I was offered another charger at a reduced price and 2
better batteries at the same price. I was sent several emails
with the changes and the new total. I am satisfied with the

I advise users of this: I ordered a name-brand product. I got a call saying that was backordered and would I like an upgrade for a bit more money. I decided on an upgrade to replace the one not available. That upgraded product cost more than similar products available on the web.

"Placed an order for a Nikon OEM battery and charger. Got an email stating that there was an issue with my order. When I called, they said the Nikon parts were on back order for 4-6 weeks (even though their website said they were in stock), but they could provide me with a "higher capacity battery for only $10 more that was in stock and could be shipped today." They did offer to adjust the price (since I was a new customer and they wanted my business). I'm a little skeptical at this point, but I went ahead and made the purchase. I hate not having the opportunity to research the item I'm putting in my camera, especially when it is a nonOEM item. We'll see about the quality of what comes in the mail. I felt obligated to write this review since it appears others (even though they gave higher ratings) also experienced the same problem of the item they initially purchased being on back order.
I will say that the people I've talked to so far have been very friendly and helpful.

EDIT: After being contacted by the company after my initial review, I have modified the original wording in my statement above. They have assured me the replacement item is of a higher quality than what I originally ordered. My lower rating is because of the problems I experienced with the order as described above and not quality of the item itself. I will append comments to my review when I receive the item and have had the opportunity to research it more.
